We finished up this custom pantry build today. Custom built lower cabinets with adjustable shelves for appliance storage with open spaces between the cabinets for roll out dry good bins. Butcher block coubter tops and custom built upper cabinets with adjustable shelves for canned goods, boxed goods, and etc. This pantry will allow the homeowners to store plenty of food as well as keep it very organized. A custom island counter top we are working on. 8 1/2' long and 4 1/2' wide, making an off the shelf butcher block island not possible. We made this piece, stained it, and applied a spar urethane finish to protect iit and make it water proof. A few more coats of spar and this thing will be ready to be the focal point of this kitchen. Don't let designers tell you you have to spend big money on reclaimed wood beams to achieve the look yiu are wanting. Here are some beams we are working on to install in a barndominium we are working on. Faux beams made of of 3 pieces of 1"x6", distressed, stained and sealed. The guys recoated this roof the other day. This roof was leaking in multiple spots. While it will be replaced that is down the road. So we came in and revoated it to prevent further leaking. The guys went around to all penetrations, edges, corners, and seams applying Tropicool silicone caulk and canned silicone to seal them up. They then rolled two coats of liquid Tropicool silicone across the whole TPO membrane. This refreshed and sealed this roof and should prevent any further leaking. The guys have been working on trim in a barndominium we are working on. 1x6 pine boards for the base trim. Knotty pine arch groove 2 panel doors with 1x4 pine for the doors.
