Last week we had the opportunity to celebrate the ribbon cutting at Metropolitan Community College for their Health Science Institute.

Hartline was proud to serve as the General Contractor on this project as MCC launches its first ever bachelor’s degree program, the Bachelor of Applied Science in Respiratory Care.

This milestone creates new opportunities for students while helping meet the growing need for healthcare professionals in our community. We are grateful to have played a part in a project that will have a lasting impact.

Wrapping up Women in Construction week by highlighting the Owner of Hartline Construction, Jennifer Hart!

Favorite thing about construction:
Taking a project from design to permitting through construction and final occupancy, where planning meets craftsmanship.

Advice for other women thinking about joining construction?
Construction needs more women. If you’re considering it, go for it. Be confident, stand your ground, and know that your perspective and leadership add real value.

What’s your go-to workday snack?
Any kind of protein bar - right now I turn to the Built Protein Bars.

If you weren’t in construction, what would you be doing?
Architecture, which is what my degree is in.

Hobby outside of work?
I am a Beekeeper, working to keep the bees strong in our community.
