We have made some massive progress at the Fairfield Fire Station! Transitioning from raw concrete and structural steel into defined spaces is a huge milestone.

· Training Tower (Stairs Installed): The Training Tower stairs are installed, allowing access to all three levels for finishing.

· Office Area (Framing Complete): The Office Area is taking shape; wall framing is complete, and windows, electrical, and HVAC rough-ins have been installed. We are now ready to start hanging drywall.

· Apparatus Bay (Floors Poured): Now that we have poured the concrete floors in the Apparatus Bay, it's the perfect blank canvas for the overhead electric and sprinkler system rough-ins.

It looks like the entire facility is shaping up beautifully.

🏗️ Project Spotlight: Birmingham Fire Station Addition

From the ground up, our team supplied all labor and materials to get the job done right. Here’s a quick look at what went into this build: we constructed a new 24x24 post-frame addition onto the existing structure. The scope of work involved site preparation, which included relocating an existing flagpole to accommodate the new building footprint. We poured a solid concrete pad for the addition's floor and finished the interior with clean, all-white liner steel on both the walls and ceiling, fully insulated for energy efficiency. To ensure seamless access, we installed a new 12x9 overhead door and carefully removed and reinstalled the existing exterior walk door.

Every time we walk the site, there’s something new—and it’s starting to feel real.

💧 The Aqua Hedra Water Sculpture is officially in place
🚻 Restrooms are coming together, with sinks and toilets being installed
🅿️ Concrete is being poured for van-accessible parking
🧗 And the Alpha Link Tower is going UP!

This space is being built with intention—for every child, every family, every ability.

Main Street is getting a major upgrade! ✨
Work on the Knoxville facades is moving fast, and we are officially hard at work on 108 & 110 Main Street.
Here’s what’s happening behind the scenes:
• 108 Main: Got a complete facelift with new windows, and we’re prepping for new brick to give this space a fresh, welcoming aesthetic.
• 110 Main: Getting the same VIP treatment! We are currently removing and replacing the old brick and installing new windows.
The block is changing fast—stay tuned for more updates as these transformations come together!

He was always destined for the construction field. Before he could walk, Anthony Junior (AJ) was fascinated by construction and everything it involved. Now, graduation is here, and he is stepping into a future that he—along with his parents—has paved. AJ will continue his education at Indian Hills Community College to obtain his AA, with intentions to transfer to the University of Iowa to obtain his BA in Business. He, alongside our amazing, well-versed team, is the future of Christner Contracting. We could not be prouder of you, AJ! The future of Christner Contracting is bright.
