Just a reminder that to much Christmas cheer can result in unscheduled remodeling.
In Dec of 2018 one of our long time favorite clients called us and informed us that his lexus was now embedded into the Kitchen wall of his Historic home located in a very upscale community in Sarasota Fl. We had done extensive remodeling to the home over the course of many years so after our client advised us that he was OK, we immediately planned the next steps to fix the structural issues and rebuild his kitchen. One of the biggest challenges was how to replace the actual block in the wall as it was very rare, and could not be easily matched. After exhausting all the possible manufacturers we were able to find the solution on the property.
As it turned out a gigantic banyan tree which had grown into the privacy wall on the property was made of the same block. We very carefully removed a large section of the wall now covered by the tree and reinstalled in the kitchen wall.
A few months later they had a brand new kitchen that matched the original architectural design of the home and a very happy client.

It's a beautiful beach day in Gulf County, FL and it's the perfect day to showcase this beachfront modular home that's just about ready for its owners to move in!!

This "home away from home" was built after the owners' townhome was destroyed by Hurricane Michael, and we know they're anxious to watch those beautiful sunsets from their porch!!

My brother-in-law Mark Haddock was a great man, with a fun-loving spirit, a good heart, who loved people, and he was a true foodie!! He painstakingly built the Krazyfish Grille in Port St. Joe with a shoestring budget, a lot of sweat, and a vision, right after the real estate crash of 2008. Not an easy task. Today, it's a Gulf Coast Favorite.

About a year and a half ago, Mark began to dream of a new restaurant; something different, something creative, classy, and unique. From the devastation of Hurricane Michael, something good was coming. I was honored when Mark asked me to work alongside him and help build his dream into reality.

Sadly, Mark passed away in April, but his dream continues on. The project is nearing its end, and I only hope that wherever Mark is, he is smiling and proud of his dream, his legacy, The White Marlin ... I certainly am. I miss you, Man. ~ Ted Sparling
