Here's another fun design task we've been working on - a conceptual design for revitalizing the space around our Redding YMCA's pool. Designed to both add amenities for swimmers and better accommodate utility needs, this little building squeezes in to wrap around the existing pool. The building adds new locker rooms for swimmers and people using the sports courts and staff, as well as a snack bar, lifeguard tower, and staff amenities. Summers spent around Turtle Bay are making us nostalgic for this old design exercise. We threw out a concept for a shade cover over the existing stage next to the Sundial Bridge a few years back. This is one of those designs that just sticks with us, so we thought we'd share it again. Designed to hold its ground next to a world-renowned bridge, the simple but provocative shape evokes the spirit of a bird of prey in flight - soaring up and over the existing structure from just behind it.

Maybe you've seen the signs on Market Street, but here is a sneak peek into the exciting new cafe and playspace coming to downtown. These are some early renderings of the Cafe interior as well as some views of the play cave we are designing for the playspace. We may be spending more than a little time here ourselves once this opens! Custom and creative projects like this are our bread and butter, and we'd love to help bring more fun spaces like this to life in our community.

Our Castella Modern Shasta County ADU has been gaining quite a bit of attention. We've helped a number of clients with minor to major plan modifications of this ADU and would love to help you customize a version for yourself.

Our Gaia Lobby Remodel is nearing completion! So excited for this much-needed update - the space was substantially opened up and lightened up to make the space more comfortable for guests coming and going. We threw in a couple of before photos at the end for comparison. Next up will be a few room updates throughout!
