Caleb Holmquist is the recipient of our August High 5 award! He was nominated for this award by James Lewis.

Caleb is a driver supporting several divisions of the company. He receives this award for going above and beyond the last couple of months. In addition to running multiple deliveries a day, Caleb will go wherever the team needs him, such as lending a hand to demo and remove old equipment. He is always willing to help and comes prepared with tools when needed. Whether working in extreme heat or torrential rain, Caleb always has a smile and positive attitude. He is dedicated to supporting his team. Caleb has been with Crawford for eight years.

Along with recognition, Caleb received a gift card for his dedication and hard work.

Jeremy Andersen is the recipient of our August Photo of the Month! Pictured are members of Crawford’s HVAC team working on a large distribution center in Mount Pleasant, IA. Crawford partnered with Midwest Helicopter Airways for this project. Their crew along with Crawford’s team worked together to set (12) rooftop units. Each unit weighing approximately 6,000 lbs. The process was very efficient taking roughly five minutes to hook up one unit, lift, set in place, come back, and hook up the next unit. All units were the same, but each with a specific location on the roof.

Jeremy is a sheet metal journeyman/foreman. He has been with the company for 13 years.

Crawford Company employees gathered this afternoon for our annual BBQ lunch. The meal featured smoked brisket, pulled pork, baked beans, cole slaw and more! A big thank you to our team that spent hours preparing and serving delicious food. It was a beautiful day to gather!

While enjoying lunch, Crawford celebrated Quad Cities Corporate Games and our 4th place finish! Employees that participated in the games this year were given a small thank you gift. Sixty employees participated this year. We couldn’t have done it without everyone who came out, competed, cheered each other on, and represented Crawford.

Crawford Company recognizes Jeff Bodeen as the recipient of our August Safety award. Jeff was driving to work early one morning and noticed a Crawford vehicle on the road. The vehicle’s lights were not working, and so Jeff stayed behind the vehicle, following it to work. Upon arrival Jeff reported the issue to the driver. Crawford’s mechanic was able to fix the lights immediately to get the vehicle and driver back on the road safely. Jeff’s concern and act of kindness helped to ensure that his coworker and those driving around him stayed safe. Jeff is a sheet metal journeyman working in our Fabrication Division. He joined the Crawford team in December of last year.

Along with recognition, Jeff received a gift card for his good work and concern for those around him.

Crawford Company was a proud sponsor of the St. Ambrose University Fighting Bee Golf Classic. The annual event was held last Friday at Emeis Golf Course. Team Crawford enjoyed a fun afternoon of networking and golf. Thank you to St. Ambrose for hosting a very nice event!
