Crawford Company Muscatine was a proud sponsor of the Greater Muscatine Chamber of Commerce & Industry Women's Leadership Summit 2026. Crawford's Brandy Marquez attended the event held last Thursday at Bridgestone Bandag. The 3rd annual event brought women in the local workforce together to share best practices, exchange career stories, and build long-term relationships. Thank you to the Chamber for putting on a great event!

More Quad Cities Corporate Games action last night as Crawford employees bowled their way to 2nd place finishes! Crawford's Coed and Men's teams finished in 2nd place, and the Women's team gave their best effort!

There is more to come this weekend as Crawford competes in Track & Field events on Saturday and Disc Golf on Sunday. The QCCG Track & Field events are held in conjunction with the Belmont Mile at Pleasant Valley High School.

Crawford Company enjoyed a beautiful afternoon at the Quad Cities Chamber of Commerce Golf Outing. The annual event was held yesterday at Pinnacle Country Club in Milan. Crawford was the hospitality cart sponsor and we had a team of golfers. It was fun to see many familiar faces and meet new people in the business community. Thank you to the Chamber team and Pinnacle Country Club for putting on a great event!

Matt Stanley is the recipient of our May High 5 award! Matt was nominated for this award because of his honesty and work ethic. Matt is a plumbing apprentice. While on a residential drain call, Matt discovered $450 cash as he was working in the customer’s home. He promptly took the money to the homeowner and told him where he had found the money. The customer was thrilled and called Crawford to say how happy he was that Matt was honest and returned the money to him. He praised Matt for his honesty and work ethic.

Matt has been with the company for two years. Along with recognition, he received a gift card for his dedication and hard work.

Crawford Company officially kicked of the 2026 Quad Cities Corporate Games season this weekend! Crawford employees Adam Isaacson, Alex Nadermann, Ramiro Cedeno, Brandon Bowden, Ashley Kirby, Amy Smith and Hilary Oliver participated in the Pickleball event held on Saturday at Riverside Park in Moline. Everyone played hard for their team! Crawford's Coed team of Alex Nadermann and Hilary Oliver took 2nd place in the event! Way to go, everyone!

Later this week, Crawford will participate in Bowling held at Big River Bowling in Davenport. More to come!

Crawford Company recognizes Owen Fields and Marino Torres as the May Safety Award recipients. Owen and Marino were nominated for this award because of their quick action while performing HVAC service in a commercial building. While onsite the men noticed a burning smell coming from an electrical room. They gained access to the room and discovered heavy smoke. They immediately notified the primary contact onsite and the local fire department. Upon arrival the fire department found a small mulch fire around the building's primary transformers which they were able to extinguish. Because of their willingness to act Owen and Marino were able to prevent a much larger incident. Owen is a HVACR apprentice in our HVAC Service Division. He has been with the company for four years. Marino is a sheet metal journeyman in our HVAC Service Division. He has been with Crawford for one year.

Along with recognition, Owen and Marino received gift cards for their dedication to safety in the workplace.

Yesterday afternoon thirty-two student athletes signed letters of intent to continue their academic and athletic careers at the collegiate level.
