🥶 Michigan Cold Weather Reminder — From Your Local Builder, Drew Storer-LeBlanc: We’re experiencing what could be some of the coldest temperatures Michigan has seen in over a century today — so we wanted to share a few quick home-care reminders to help prevent frozen pipes and no-heat surprises.

✅ Shut off water to exterior hose bibs (and disconnect hoses)

✅ If a sink is on an exterior wall, consider leaving cabinet doors open — especially if you don’t have toe-kick heat ➡️ This is especially important for homes on slab or crawlspace foundations

✅ Check your furnace PVC exhaust & intake pipes — make sure snow hasn’t covered them; (If they’re blocked, your furnace can shut down and you’ll wake up cold and confused!)

Stay warm, stay safe, and please share this with anyone who could use the reminder today.
