Another homeowner that wasn't aware they had any storm damage until I stopped by and offered a courtesy inspection after noticing a missing shingle on their roof. They we're very appreciative and we got the claim submitted to the insurance right away after uncovering significant storm damage to the entire roof and gutters. Adjuster came out the next day, a great guy that I've worked with several times over the years, did his assessment and agreed the property sustained damage from last years storms. THIS VERY NICE HOMEOWNER HAD NO IDEA HER ROOF AND EXTERIOR HAD BEEN DAMAGED BY HIGH WINDS AND GOLF BALL SIZE HAIL, THAT HAD HIT THE AREA EARLIER IN THE YEAR! WE THOUGHT MAYBE SANTA AND HIS REINDEER GOT A LITTLE TOO EXCITED UP ON THE ROOF AT FIRST LOL 😆 SHE SAID THE ROOF WAS ONLY 8 YRS OLD AND THOUGHT IT WAS JUST FINE. SO WE JUST OFFERED A COURTESY INSPECTION TO BE SAFE GOING INTO THE WINTER. TURNS OUT THE ROOF WAS SEVERELY DAMAGED FROM THE STORM BACK IN MAY! WE GOT THE EXPOSED PLYWOOD ALL TARPED UP AND HELPED HER GET THE CLAIM FILED WITH HER OLD INSURANCE CARRIER WHO INSURED THE PROPERTY AT THE TIME OF THE STORM. DON'T ASSUME EVERYTHING IS FINE UP THERE UNTIL YOU HAVE AN HONEST AND KNOWLEDGEABLE PROFESSIONAL TAKE A LOOK, IT'S COMPLETELY FREE TO HAVE US OUT AND GIVE YOU AN ASSESSMENT.
