It is with profound sadness that we must announce the passing of our friend and employee, Mark Hall. Mark started at Tezel and Cotter as an apprentice in 1979. He quickly grew in the ranks and was running work at Taft High School while still an apprentice. He worked in many roles at Tezel and Cotter and was promoted to Superintendent in 1998; a role he served until his death. Mark always put Tezel and Cotter ahead of personal gain. His main interest is whatever it took to make the company successful. Mark’s personal life was a mystery to most. He did not speak much of his family. We know he was preceded in death by his mother of Nixon, Texas and he is the father to a daughter and a son. His passion was work during the week and bowling on the weekends. He would talk occasionally of bowling a “300” game over the weekend. His presence will be missed at Tezel and Cotter. He was typically the first person to the office in the mornings; arriving around 5:30. He could always be counted on when asked to do any task.
Mark will be missed. His knowledge and work ethic will never be equaled. Rest in Peace, Mark Hall.
