How We Reach Underserved Schools
We offer courtesy programs for schools and communities that need them. We partner with Girls Who Code and the San Diego STEM Ecosystem. And we keep our school programs at zero cost for equipment because access shouldn't depend on a school's budget.

This week's club sessions have a spooky twist. Kids build Halloween-themed robots and code creepy-crawly creatures in Scratch. Same STEM skills, extra fun. Drop in at Salt Creek on Tuesday, Serra Mesa on Wednesday, or Golden Hill on Thursday. Members and first-timers welcome.

Coding apps teach syntax. Coding robots teach systems thinking. When a student writes code that makes a physical robot move, stop, or react to a sensor, they see cause and effect in the real world. That connection between code and hardware is what develops genuine computational thinking.

Our second 8-week cycle runs October 14 through December 10, with Thanksgiving week off (November 24-26). $140 covers all eight sessions at Salt Creek (Tuesdays), Serra Mesa (Wednesdays), or Golden Hill (Thursdays). Perfect timing for kids who missed Q1 - or want to keep the momentum going.
