Something exciting is taking shape at our San Carlos showroom! 🎬

Our team has been busy updating our showroom to give you a firsthand look at some of our favorite home entertainment technologies and the different ways they can be integrated into your home.

We’re bringing together a variety of home entertainment setups so you can see and hear the differences for yourself. Our traditional theater setup features a projector, screen, and multiple in-wall speaker options at different price points. We’re also showcasing the premium Bang & Olufsen Beosound Theatre soundbar, which delivers exceptional audio without the need for built-in speakers.

Next up, we’re working on an outdoor entertainment display and integrating Control4 automation throughout the space so you can experience how different technologies work together with seamless control.

Whether you’re planning a dedicated home theater, upgrading your living room, or simply exploring what’s possible, we want our showroom to be a place where you can experience the technology firsthand and find inspiration for your own home.

We’re excited to share a behind-the-scenes look at our progress. Stay tuned as it all comes together!

A great TV or home theater is only as good as the movie you feed it. 🎬

Most streaming services compress movies to make them easier to stream over the internet. It’s convenient, but some of the original picture and sound quality gets left behind.

Kaleidescape takes a different approach. Movies are downloaded directly to your system in exceptionally high quality, with reference-quality video and lossless audio designed to get more out of your TV, sound system, or dedicated home theater.

The difference shows up in the details: darker scenes have more clarity, motion is cleaner, compression artifacts are reduced, and the sound has much more information to work with. Dialogue is clearer, action has more impact, and formats like Dolby Atmos can really shine.

Think of it this way: streaming services are designed to make movies convenient to watch. Kaleidescape is designed to make them look and sound as good as possible.

Kaleidescape is one of the latest technologies we’ve added at Levines Lights. Want to see and hear the difference? Stop by our San Carlos showroom for a demo.

5 years of Levines Lights! 🎉

What started in Justin’s garage with a simple goal has grown into our San Carlos shop, a team of six, and more than 500 completed projects.

Over the past five years, we’ve had the opportunity to work with incredible homeowners, families, builders, and designers, helping make home technology easier to use, more reliable, and thoughtfully integrated into everyday life.

To every client who has trusted us with their home or project along the way, thank you. We wouldn’t be celebrating this milestone without you.

And there’s plenty more ahead. We’re putting the finishing touches on a new home theater demo space, adding new automation systems like Control4, exploring more custom solutions, and even working on a new look for Levines Lights.

Here’s to the next five. 🥂

🎉Celebrating 3 Years of Levines Lights🎉

Three years ago, we started Levines Lights out of a garage (in true cliche startup fashion), with the goal of helping our families and friends simplify their home tech. We had no idea where the journey would take us, let alone if the company would survive for more than a few months.

Today, we’ve grown into a full-service AV company, and have expanded our service region to the entirety of the Bay Area and specialty markets such as Napa and Tahoe. Having completed hundreds of projects and interfacing with the most amazing clients on a daily basis. We never could’ve imagined it turning out the way it has.

We couldn’t have done it without your support. Thank you for trusting us to bring your vision to life. Here’s to many more years of innovation, connection, and lighting up your world!

Swipe to enjoy some photos from the first year of our company, which truly seems like an eternity ago 📲.
