Planning a facility should not require customers to describe every rack detail through a long chain of phone calls and emails. How it started: Rack configuration depended heavily on manual conversations and repeated written exchanges. How it’s going: Aquaneering is introducing an online rack configuration tool so customers can explore and configure rack options digitally. The tool is intended to make early planning more visual, more structured, and easier to discuss with the Aquaneering team. Regional sales teams do more than create local presence. They also create a stronger bridge between customer needs and the teams that design, build, and support the solution. How it started: Customer knowledge was captured through a more centralized and informal sales process. How it’s going: Regional customer conversations can feed clearer information into engineering, manufacturing, service, and project planning. Better information at the beginning creates a stronger project throughout the process. Better listening produces better system decisions.

Supporting the Next Generation of Researchers!

Catie Bussey, a student researcher at Sacramento City College, is investigating how BMP signaling influences zebrafish heart development, with a focus on identifying critical windows when disruptions can lead to cardiac abnormalities.
With support from Aquaneering, Catie and her faculty advisor, Professor Andrea Greenwell, are building a reproducible zebrafish research system that expands hands-on research opportunities at the community college level.

As Catie prepares to apply to medical school, her work reflects the power of early research experiences to inspire future discoveries in congenital heart disease.
