We are officially out of the ground and into framing on this addition project in Saratoga Springs.
The carriage house is now fully framed, and we’re moving right along with the tower addition and breezeway.
We’re excited to get the roofing, windows and siding installed so we can see how it transforms the already beautiful existing home! ⭐

Timber frame meets high performance 🔨

The VT Foam Laminates team is busy installing the insulated wall and roof panels at our home project in Greenfield, NY. They are using Structural Insulated Panels (SIPs). Pairing a timber framed home with SIPs creates a building system that’s as efficient as it is beautiful. The exposed timber frame delivers unmatched character and craftsmanship, while SIPs provide a tight, highly insulated building envelope.

Vermont Frames has completed the main house timber framing for our Greenfield project. They have handed the baton to Vermont Foam Laminates to complete the wall and roof panels. Once this is complete our framing team will finish framing the decks and porches.

We were super impressed with the team from Vermont Frames. Professional, tidy and very skilled at their trade. We wanted to share some progress photos of the eastern white pine interior timbers as well as the tongue and groove pine ceilings. Look at that joinery and craftmanship!

And of course, no job is complete without Gabby making rounds, keeping a close eye on things and making sure everything meets her standards. 🐾

It’s a Photo Finish! 🏇

This renovation project near the Saratoga Race Course is very close to completion and just in time for the Belmont Stakes in early June!

We particularly love the custom blue cabinetry and the beautifully restored fir flooring. The entire home is bright and inviting.

A few final details left, but we’re just a few moments from Post Time!
