Last week, our team had the incredible opportunity to participate at the Northern California District Championship. We competed against 60 impressive teams, and ranked 10th in matches overall! We were alliance 7 captain, alongside our alliance partners, 4698 - Raider Robotics, and 6962 - Antares. It was an amazing experience, where over 35 of our team members did an outstanding job in pit, drive, scouting, media, and awards. Through our hard work, we managed to qualify for the FIRST World Championship! We are so excited to have the opportunity to compete, learn and grow there. A huge thank you to our alliance partners and all of the hardworking volunteers who made this event possible. We hope to see you at champs!

Earlier this month, our team participated in the Moreland Middle Open House, inspiring the next generation of engineers with our 2022 FRC robot Wade Jones. The students learned what it's like to be part of an FRC team while parents found ways to involve their child in our summer STEM camps. The kids were introduced to fabrication, electrical, and programming. Thank you to the MMS staff for this opportunity!

One week ago, we brought our 2022 robot Wade Jones to Marshall Lane Elementary school for their STEAM day. We had a great time interacting with the kids and sharing our love of FIRST and STEM. Thank you to the parents and staff of Marshall Lane for giving us the opportunity to expand our outreach to a new local school.

Last weekend, our team competed at Pinnacles District Event in Hollister, our second competition of the 2026 Rebuilt season. At the end of qualification matches, our team ranked 3rd and in one match our alliance achieved a high score of 650 points! We became the captain of Alliance 2 with Team 3045 - Gear Gremlins and Team 4255 - Robodores. Thanks to our amazing alliance, we made it all the way to the Finals round where we finished as Finalists after some very close matches. Over 40 team members participated in the event, doing an incredible job in drive, pit, media, scouting, and awards. We are thrilled to see improvement in our robot performance year after year.

A huge thank you to all the volunteers involved in this event, especially our lead mentor Fred Worley who stepped up to be the Game Announcer days before the competition. And a big thank you to Team 6884 - DeepSpace and Hollister High School for hosting the competition.  It was a great second competition of the season!

Last weekend our team competed at the Silicon Valley District Event, our first in-season competition of 2026 Rebuild. Our bot, Cartacus, was ranked 7th and we competed in the playoffs as Alliance 4 Captain. We advanced til the third round of playoffs with our alliance partners: 1868 - Space Cookies and 668 - The Ape of the Wrath as well as team 6059 - System Overload Robotics that graciously subbed in for us. We thank our alliance partners and host team 100 - Wildhats, including all the volunteers for making this event possible. We had a great turnout with a combination of veteran and rookie participation across pit, drive, scouting and awards. Great job team for your hard work and dedication — what an incredible start to the season!
