Sweetwater Phase II brings three apartment buildings and 48 total units of affordable housing to the community, creating quality homes designed to serve local residents for years to come.

Construction Commencement at Grace Bible Church - Lake Placid 🔨

Typically, we celebrate the start of construction with shovels in the ground. But when the project is a multi-building renovation, sledgehammers felt a little more appropriate!

Wednesday morning, our team joined Grace Bible Church to celebrate the official commencement of construction on the Grace Bible Church Lake Placid Campus.

It has been a privilege to work alongside the GBC team and Mantel Teter throughout Preconstruction, collaborating from the early planning stages to help prepare this historic campus for its next chapter.

The project will transform the original 1950s Lake Placid Public School campus into a new church campus, giving these buildings a new purpose while preserving a place that has been part of the Lake Placid community for generations.

We’re eager to officially begin this next chapter and look forward to watching the campus evolve in the months ahead!

Last week, the Amaryllis Park Phase IV team connected with local job seekers at a community job fair hosted at Light of the World, Sarasota, helping raise awareness of the employment opportunities being created through this important project.

The event was a coordinated effort with Smith & Henzy, CareerSource Suncoast and the Sarasota Housing Authority, bringing community partners and local residents together to connect local talent with opportunities close to home.

As we prepare to kick off another great project delivering affordable housing in Sarasota, Sustainability remains central to our approach. Sustainability goes beyond the buildings we construct, it means investing in local people, creating economic opportunities, and contributing to stronger, more resilient communities.

We look forward to seeing Amaryllis Park Phase IV take shape and creating a lasting impact for Sarasota residents.

As we close out the week, our team is also closing out Cross Creek Gardens in Quincy, Florida another project where our commitment to Excellence has guided us from start to finish.

Excellence is more than the finished product. It’s found in the details, the craftsmanship, the problem-solving, and the commitment of our team and project partners throughout every phase of construction.

Project Complete | Simplot – Wauchula, Florida📍

Another successful project is complete in Wauchula, Florida! Our work for Simplot Grower Solutions consisted of three distinct projects, including the construction of a beautiful new office building.

Coordinating multiple scopes on one site takes careful planning, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering quality at every stage. From start to finish, our team remained focused on achieving a high standard of workmanship and providing Simplot with facilities built to support their operations for years to come.

Investing in the future of construction starts with investing in people.

As the summer comes to a close, we're taking a moment to recognize our two Summer Interns and thank them for the enthusiasm, curiosity, and dedication they brought to Marmer Construction.

Over the past several weeks, they gained hands-on experience, explored different aspects of the construction industry, and worked alongside team members who were excited to share their knowledge and experience.

Our goal has always been more than providing an internship. We hope this summer helped inspire their passion for construction, expanded their understanding of the industry, and encouraged them to consider building their careers with us after graduation.

To our interns, thank you for your hard work, your questions, and the positive energy you brought to our team. We wish you continued success as you return to school, and we hope to welcome you back to Marmer Construction in the future.
