Oakland Arena replaced its entire network in 13 days. Up to 10x faster connectivity, zero downtime, and two consecutive sold-out concerts to prove it.

At full capacity, the previous infrastructure couldn't reliably support the demand. High latency, buffering, and disconnects were real risks every event.

RUCKUS Networks and Fortis Solutions delivered the full overhaul in less than two weeks at Oakland Arena and Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum in California. Nearly 300 Wi-Fi 7 access points, new ICX switches, and a complete routing and switching refresh, without taking the venue offline.

The venue now runs ticketing, AV, concessions, and venue operations on a single high-capacity network. Lower infrastructure costs. Simpler operations.
