Throughout Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Refresco teams across North America have come together to show their support through themed booths, team photos, educational activities and more.

Like this post if you’re up for a feel-good story 💙 Puebla’s “Heroes Refresco” team recently completed their fourth community support mission in collaboration with Desarrollo Integral de la Familia, providing boxed lunches and personal hygiene kits to vulnerable individuals at the Traumatology and Orthopedics Hospital in Puebla.

Long after the lunches were shared and the kits distributed, the spirit behind this mission remains. By leading with empathy, generosity and service, the “Heroes Refresco” team show how ordinary acts of kindness can create extraordinary moments of hope and human connection. 🧡

Our Surrey team recently celebrated an incredible milestone: 1,000 days with no lost-time incidents. 🏆🎉🦺

To mark the occasion, both production lines hit pause for a team meal, some friendly competition and plenty of celebrating. Employees went head-to-head in a co****le tournament for a chance to win tickets to a local summer fair, while every team member received a home fire extinguisher as a thank-you for keeping safety front and center.

1,000 days is a big deal. And it’s a team accomplishment.

Congratulations to everyone at Surrey for making safety part of the everyday! 💪✨

⛵🌱🎈Cheers to Ed Hagerstrom, Sr. Director of EH&S, who has retired this September! 🎉👏

Since joining in 2017 as North America’s first Environmental, Health and Safety Manager, Ed has played a pivotal role in strengthening our safety and environmental programs. He helped standardize safety systems, advance environmental compliance efforts and build a strong EHS foundation and team (you can see them pictured in this post at Niagara Falls!). Along the way, his practical guidance, deep knowledge of the business and team-first mindset have made a lasting impact across Refresco. 💚

As he begins his next chapter, Ed is looking forward to fishing, sailing (like you see in his pre-Refresco pic in 1993, plus the pic with his wife, Penny!), traveling, and checking items off his bucket list, starting with the International Balloon Festival in Albuquerque this fall. He and Penny, will split their time between Florida and Tennessee, where he plans to enjoy woodworking and gardening.

When asked to describe Refresco in one word, Ed chose “exciting.” His advice to colleagues: “Listen, be patient and persevere.”

360 backpacks packed. 360 smiles ready for day one 😄🎒🔥 Our IT, Finance and Communications teams at the Tampa corporate office made a difference for children in our community this week by volunteering to fill 300 brand-new backpacks with essential school supplies in partnership with United Way Suncoast.

For more than 100 years, United Way Suncoast works to mobilize communities into action so all can thrive. They do this by focusing on three interconnected impact areas: Educational Opportunity, Financial Security, and Community Resiliency.

Many families in the Suncoast region struggle to afford basic school supplies… So, this event? It meant a lot. We’re grateful for the opportunity to help young minds start the school year ready to succeed 📚✨
