Building on nearly a century of partnership with the The University of Arizona, the Student Success District, completed in 2021, marked Sundt's 58th project with the university.

The project brought together a new student success building, renovated library spaces and the restoration of the historic Bear Down Gym and now serves as a central hub for campus life.

Delivered in one of the busiest areas on campus, the project required extensive coordination to maintain safe access and minimize disruptions to daily university operations while construction progressed across multiple active locations.

Years after completion, the Student Success District continues to earn recognitions for creating a campus destination that connects students with the spaces, services and support they need to succeed.

Two hours ahead of schedule. That's when I-5 reopened after our Northwest team executed a major freeway closure on the Oregon Department of Transportation's I-5 Rose Quarter Improvement Project. What you didn't see were the months of preparation, coordination, and teamwork that made it possible.

Working in joint venture with Hamilton Construction and alongside our skilled trade partners, the team safely coordinated dozens of concurrent work activities, equipment movements, material deliveries and traffic through one of Oregon's busiest transportation corridors.

This marks an important step forward on the I-5 Rose Quarter Improvement Project, which will enhance safety, reduce congestion and reconnect neighborhoods while modernizing a critical section of Oregon's transportation network.

Thank you to every employee-owner, partner and ODOT team member whose professionalism and commitment made this a success. It's a strong start to the work still ahead.

Did you know the Phoenix Zoo is home to more than 3,000 animals across nearly 400 species?

To support the care of those animals for years to come, Sundt is constructing the Zoo's new veterinary medical center. The project includes two new facilities that will expand veterinary care, support wildlife research and create engaging educational spaces.

The buildings recently topped out, bringing the Zoo one step closer to providing staff with enhanced resources while helping prepare the next generation of veterinarians.

What began as a construction discovery became an opportunity to honor an important chapter in San Antonio's history.

When the historic foundations of St. James AME Church were uncovered during construction of San Pedro Creek Culture Park, it created an opportunity to preserve the legacy of one of San Antonio's earliest Black congregations. Today, Presence of the Past and the Culture Crossing Pavilion honors history through art, celebrating the faith and resilience of the community that helped shape the city.

Sundt donated construction management services, overseeing permitting, site preparation and coordination to help bring artist Gordon Huether Studio's vision to life. It's meaningful to have contributed to a place where history is preserved, stories are shared, and the community can continue gathering for generations to come.
