Some projects you just know are going to be special.
This was one of them.
The Sedars family didn't come to us as strangers.
This is the second pool we've built for them.
When a family invites you back to do it all over again, you feel it.
You want to make this one even better than the first.
So we did.
It's an 18 by 36 vinyl liner pool, finished in a Slate Grey liner.
Most people expect that standard bright blue.
This one's different.
The Slate Grey gives the water a rich, unique look that ties the whole backyard together.
It's not the color you expect, and that's exactly what makes it stand out.
Then there's the custom sun deck.
A shallow shelf built right into the pool, made for lounging and enjoying the water without ever fully getting in.
Pull a chair into a few inches of water and stay a while.
It's the kind of feature that turns a pool into a place you actually live in.
We added deck jets too.
Little arcs of water along the edge that bring movement, sound, and a resort feel to the whole space.
You don't really catch it in a photo. You feel it the moment you walk out back.
Now here's the part we're most proud of.
The part nobody posts about.
Like any custom build, this one came with a few challenges.
Anybody can build a pool when everything goes smooth.
The real test is what you do when it doesn't.
We worked through it the way we always do.
Communicate. Solve it. Never cut a corner to make it easier on us.
That's how you end up with a backyard oasis instead of just a pool.
A space the Sedars family gets to enjoy with their kids, their family, and their friends for years to come.
That's the whole point of what we do.
Perseverance. Craftsmanship. Attention to every detail.
That's how a project becomes something special.
Two pools in, the Sedars aren't just clients to us.
They're friends for life.
