Ball Team Company Picnic 2026!

We had a great time last night at the Ball Team company picnic! It was a perfect evening to step away from the jobsite, enjoy some good food, and spend time together with our Ball Team family. We’re grateful for all the hard work and dedication our team puts in every day!

A big thank you to Fareway Stores for catering and keeping everyone well-fed, and to Home Sweet Cone Ice Cream for bringing the ice cream truck and helping us end the night on a sweet note! 🍦

🌽 Ball Team at the Sweet Corn Festival! 🌽

We had a great time being part of the Sweet Corn Festival Parade in Adel this past Saturday! It was an extra special year for Ball Team as our partner, Matthew Karns, was honored as the Citizen of the Year and served as this year’s Grand Marshal. 🎉

A big thank you to Superintendent Adam Kurimski for being our official driver and getting us safely down the parade route! 🚜 And a special shoutout to Matthew and Adam's sons for helping keep the crowd stocked with candy — they took their candy-throwing duties very seriously! 🍬😄

We’re proud to share that Ball Team Partner Matthew Karns was named the Adel Partners Chamber of Commerce 2025 Citizen of the Year at last week’s Celebrate Adel banquet.

Matthew was recognized for his impact across the community—from his work on Rotary Plaza and other Rotary-led initiatives, to coaching youth sports, mentoring students through his professional role, and providing leadership at the city, county, and state levels.

As President of Rotary during the 2020–21 year, Matthew helped guide the Club through the challenges of the pandemic and has continued to stay actively involved through various committees.

Congratulations, Matthew, on this well-deserved honor and thank you for your continued commitment to making Adel a better place.
