When water is getting into a building, it’s never something to ignore.

In this case, active leaks were already causing damage to sheetrock and carpet, a clear sign that the building envelope had been compromised.

Two days after rain… and the building is still telling a story.

When exterior surfaces are not properly sealed, moisture can pe*****te deep into masonry, concrete, or brick and continue surfacing long after the storm passes.

That lingering moisture can cause:
- Visible water staining
- Premature coating breakdown
- Surface deterioration
- Efflorescence, the white chalky salt deposits caused when water carries minerals to the surface as it evaporates

Keeping a visible property looking its best takes the right approach.

This Chaska building, right near the lake, is in a spot where appearance really matters. After years of exposure, it needed more than just a power wash to bring it back to life.

Power washing helped get the surface ready, but a full exterior repaint made the biggest difference, giving the building a cleaner, more updated look that better fits its visible location.
