Yesterday we gathered with community leaders, residents, business owners, media and project partners to celebrate the groundbreaking of Access 26 Family Food Truck Park, an exciting new dining destination coming to Beach Access 26 on Fort Myers Beach.
The event was truly a family affair, with the entire family behind the vision—including eight grandchildren—joining in the ceremonial shovel turn.
Scheduled for completion in early 2027, Access 26 Family Food Truck Park will feature five food trucks offering unique menu options, a two-story gathering space with a bar and covered seating, Manny's Scoops ice cream shop and retail space. Additional amenities include a curbside table rail for casual outdoor dining, an artificial turf play area for children, three shade canvas structures, dedicated guest parking and direct beach access, creating a welcoming, family-friendly destination.
Located at 2500 Estero Blvd., Access 26 Family Food Truck Park will enhance the overall beach experience as it also includes a 569-square-foot comfort center with men's and women's restrooms, storage and three outdoor showers, providing convenient amenities for beachgoers.
Designed with resiliency in mind, the project incorporates elevated mechanical systems, flood-resistant materials and coastal construction measures to help protect the property during future storm events.
Thank you to the entire Hotka family, Fort Myers Beach Chamber of Commerce, Visit Fort Myers, Town of Fort Myers Beach, Florida, Studio A.D. - Architect , JR Evans Engineering, The Neighborhood Company , AMG Design and everyone who helped celebrate this exciting project.
