We just wrapped up this fence, grass, and retaining wall project in Walthill, Nebraska, and we’re really proud of how it turned out. It’s always great seeing a project come together and make such a difference. If you’ve been thinking about a project like this for your property, we’d love to help bring it to life.

Happy to help the Village of Walthill Nebraska transform this old house into something beautiful!

There’s been some recent hub-bub about the house at 100 S Costello Street such as who owns it and what are they planning to do with it.

The house is owned by the Village, who was able to acquire it from the Omaha Tribe, in a joint effort to provide more adequate housing for our community.

The house is currently being renovated with the first phase (exterior) almost complete and the second phase (interior) soon to follow. The Village has been able to make the necessary renovations through a $75,000 Sherwood Grant awarded in 2025 along with the net sale proceeds from the sale of the 304 S Sawyer Street house, which was also renovated through Sherwood money.

Lacreme Construction, LLC (a local native-owned construction company,) was awarded the contract bid to do the exterior, and they’re doing an amazing job!

Full completion date is expected to be at the end of summer/beginning of fall, after which, an open house event will be held so stay tuned for that date!

The Village will be selling this 2-bed, 2 bath house (bedrooms are upstairs with a bathroom on the first and second levels - there’s also a basement) with the plan to use the net sale proceeds to renovate another house while also applying for more Sherwood Grant money to help with renovation costs.

A closer look at one of our recent transformations for the Village of Walthill 🏡✨

We are currently completing a full exterior renovation on this home, including a brand new front porch that’s completely changing the look and feel of the property.

More progress updates coming soon!
