5 grace‑filled days reflecting on the gift that I am, the gifts I’ve been given, and how to use those gifts to support others and cultivate a world that is better for everyone ✨

Learning and sharing alongside women from so many walks of life and vocation (married, single, consecrated, and religious sisters) was its own gift and a reminder that every path is unique and just as beautiful as the others 💕

I am deeply grateful for this foundation as a scientist and educator, and for how my faith keeps shaping all the work I have done and that I do moving forward 👩🏽‍🔬 Thank you to the The GIVEN Institute team for making this space and formation possible 🙏🏽 May you all find a community of love and support like this one ❤️‍🔥

Day 2 in the Amazon 🌳 microscopy workshop for Maijuna students in the Sucusari community 👦🏽👧🏽🇵🇪

Kids learned about microscopy by using Foldscopes, paper microscopes that are portable, low‑cost, and waterproof 🔬they looked at ants, leaves, and other samples 🐜 thank you to their teacher Mrs. Dorcas and members .fashionlab and .molina_3 for their help in making this possible 🙌🏽

So grateful to learn with them and to connect science with what surrounds them by the Napo river ✨

First time at the US Senate for meetings 🇺🇸🏛️

On Tuesday I met with staff from Senators Hassan, Durbin, and Kim to discuss their role and Congress’s constitutional authority in the Iran conflict and the path toward ending it 🙏🏽

I was nervous walking into the first meeting, but it turned out to be surprisingly fun. By the second one, I was excited. And the third one felt like a conversation with peers 🤝

Grateful for the senators and their staff for being open to these conversations, my teammates Faraz and Ali, and for this opportunity. Excited to keep exploring the foreign policy space 🌎

my first Foreign Policy for America Leadership Summit 🇺🇸🌎

I love and consider both Peru and the US home, so foreign policy sits at the intersection of who I am. As a first year Next Gen, I get to explore science policy and diplomacy through opportunities like this. Grateful to connect with people like who’ve been doing this work for years and with others building a more just and representative foreign policy 🙏🏽✨
