This incredible project from Black Dog Homes took home the Historic Renovation title at the Midwest Home Design Awards.

The transformation is absolutely breathtaking because we completely reimagined the entire property while respecting its original character.

We did not just update the finishes. We entirely flipped the layout and functionality:

✅ Flipped the entire layout by reorienting the address from Wayzata Blvd to Walker Ave N
✅ Relocated the driveway for better access and flow
✅ Expanded the footprint by adding over 2000 square feet of beautiful living space
✅ Demolished the old detached garage to create a modern attached garage
✅ Built a private in law suite above the garage, complete with elevator access
✅ Added a classic front porch and fully updated the exterior landscaping
✅ Executed a comprehensive, top to bottom interior and exterior remodel
