Complaint: Steering axle falling out of the machine… for the THIRD time.

We recently picked up this new customer through a referral from a good friend in the industry. When we arrived, they had a slew of paper-roll trucks with issues—but this Doosan came with a story.

The steering axle had already fallen out twice. Each time it went down, the machine sat at our competitor’s shop for MONTHS.

Coincidentally, the steer axle fell out again.

To avoid another round of ridiculous downtime and added cost, we performed the repair on-site. Once we started tearing into it, things got ugly—fast.

Our incredible competitors had drilled the broken studs out crooked AND used the wrong-sized drill bit for the tap. What should’ve been a lower-frame repair turned into removing the rad, engine supports, counterweight, exhaust, overhead guard, and more.

We removed the damaged subframe section and brought it to our good friends at 45 Fab, who did the repair RIGHT. Then we returned, put the entire machine back together, and got it back into service.

They had it for months.

We did it correctly in 10 days.

There isn’t a single forklift repair company in this state that can compete with us. 🤷🏻‍♂️

We went out to a customer to take a look at their Toyota 8FGC55U, which was dealing with a hydraulic leak at the clamp. After operating the clamp and digging into the issue, we found the long arm cylinder was cracked and leaking. 😬

With the replacement parts overnighted, we headed back out to the customer and got to work. While removing the cylinder pins, we uncovered another problem — one of the pins had snapped off inside the cylinder! 💥

We removed the hydraulic hoses and carefully removed the damaged cylinder. The new cylinder and pins were installed, locking plates secured, and all hydraulic hoses reconnected.

Once everything was back together, we put the clamp through its paces and tested the unit to make sure everything was operating properly and the leak was resolved. ✅🔧

Another repair completed in the field and another piece of equipment back up and running! 💪

This 2023 Pratt Industries Roll-Off Trailer came in with low brakes and some serious squealing — definitely not something you want to ignore when you’re hauling!

We got the trailer secured and up in the air, then removed the wheels and drums for a full brake inspection. After measuring the shoes at all four corners, we found they were due for replacement, and the drums were showing signs of heat cracking. 🛠️

We replaced the brake shoes on all four corners, installed brand-new drums, properly adjusted the brakes, and reinstalled the wheels. Everything was torqued to spec before putting the trailer back through testing.

After testing the trailer, we confirmed the brakes were adjusted properly and operating as they should. ✅

Another trailer back in top shape and ready to get back to work! 💪

When the lift started leaking, TCS Mobile Equipment Services was called in to get it handled and back to work. 💪

After diagnosing the unit, we found multiple hydraulic lines had split open, causing the leak.

We removed the clamp and disconnected the hydraulic hoses, then removed the fittings and tie-downs securing the lines. The hoses were removed from the lift and taken to be professionally remade before heading back to the jobsite for installation.

Once back on site, we routed the new hoses through the lift, properly positioned and tensioned them, then secured everything back in place. The clamp was lined up and reinstalled, all hydraulic connections were secured, and the system was tested for proper operation.

Fluid level was topped off, the Hyster 120 was checked over, and it was ready to get back to work.

📞 Customer called in reporting the unit wasn’t getting up to operating temperature and the cab heat was working intermittently. We got on the road and went straight to work tracking down the issue.

Once on site, our tech checked in with management, located the 2014 Mack CXU, and moved forward with the diagnosis in a safe working area. Testing revealed the thermostat was sticking intermittently, preventing the cooling system from operating properly and keeping the engine from reaching operating temperature.

We drained the coolant, removed the upper radiator hose and thermostat housing, and replaced the faulty thermostat and gasket. The housing and hose were reinstalled, the cooling system was refilled, and the unit was started up and brought back to operating temperature.

🔥 Heat is back.
🌡️ Unit is reaching operating temperature.
🔧 Cooling system is operating properly.

Another job knocked out and another Mack CXU back where it belongs — on the job and getting work done! 💪🚛

We headed out to diagnose a Toyota 8FGCU that was running rough and experiencing a noticeable misfire. During diagnostics, we found excessive spark buildup along the plug straps, along with a worn cap and rotor. We also pulled the LPG filter and found it heavily clogged, restricting proper fuel flow.

Using van stock, we got to work installing new spark plugs with anti-seize, followed by a new cap and rotor. Dielectric grease was applied to the plug wires to help protect the connections and ensure proper ignition performance.

Next, we removed and cleaned the LPG filter housing, installed a new filter, secured the housing, and reopened the tank. The unit was then run through a full operational test to verify proper ignition and fuel delivery.

✅ Misfire addressed
✅ New plugs installed
✅ Cap & rotor replaced
✅ LPG system serviced
✅ Unit tested and returned to service

Another job handled in the field and another piece of equipment ready to get back to work! 🚛🔧

When a 2020 International LT625 rolled in with a check engine light and an injection metering rail pressure fault, it was time to get into the fuel system and find the restriction.

Our tech traveled to the customer, located the unit, and got right to work. The fuel water separator housing was found packed with dirt and debris, restricting proper fuel flow and causing the fuel pressure to fall outside the normal operating range.

The fuel separator housing was disassembled, the remaining fuel was drained, and the fuel lines were disconnected. The contaminated housing was removed from the truck frame and replaced with a new housing and filter. Once everything was reassembled, the fuel system was properly bled and fuel pressures were checked to verify the repair.

After testing everything out, the LT625 was running properly and back in service and ready to roll. 💪🛠️

This 2016 PiggyBack PB 55.4 came in needing some attention with leaking tilt cylinders and a heavily dirty air filter. Our techs got right to work tracking down the issues and getting this unit back into reliable working condition. 💪

🚚 Traveled to the customer’s location, checked in with management, located the unit, and moved it into a safe working area.

We started by removing and replacing the dirty air filter, clearing out the buildup of dirt and debris that had accumulated over time.

Next up were the leaking tilt cylinders. We disconnected all hydraulic lines and removed the cylinders from the unit before tearing them down for inspection. Once disassembled, everything was thoroughly cleaned to remove the built-up gunk and debris.

The worn seals were removed and replaced with fresh seals before reassembling the cylinders. After that, the cylinders were reinstalled, all hydraulic lines were reconnected, and the system was put through a full test.

✅ Tilt cylinders resealed
✅ Air filter replaced
✅ Hydraulic system tested
✅ Unit returned to service

One more machine cleaned up, tightened up, and ready to get back to work. That’s another job checked off the list. 🔩💪

🚜 NEW HOLLAND B95C — NO CRANK, NO START? WE’VE GOT YOU COVERED! 🔧

The customer placed a service call at 10:00 AM on Saturday for a New Holland B95C that had absolutely no reaction when the key was turned. Our tech headed out to the customer’s location, located the unit, and got right to work diagnosing the issue.

Battery testing told the story. 🔋

• 12.6V resting voltage
• 7.86V with the key on
• A shocking 2V while cranking

The batteries were clearly not up to the task. We hooked up a jump box, got the machine started, and verified the alternator was charging properly at 14V. With approval given on-site, we headed out to pick up new batteries and returned to get the repair finished.

The old batteries were removed, the terminals and battery box were cleaned up, and new batteries and hold-downs were installed. We applied battery terminal protector, started the machine, and verified everything was operating as it should. The battery box cover and storage compartment were reinstalled, and the B95C was officially back in service! 💪🔋

⏰ Service call at 10:00 AM → Unit back up and running by 1:30 PM.

That’s the kind of Saturday service we’re talking about! When equipment goes down, TCS Mobile Equipment Services gets it back to work. 🚚🔧

When the customer called in, this 2001 International HV607 was dealing with multiple lighting issues along with a leaking front left hub cap. Our tech headed out to the customer’s location, located the unit, and got to work tracking down the problems.

The lighting system had several wiring breaks, corrosion, and damaged fixtures. We cut out the damaged section of the main harness running to the rear lights on the Moffett, fabricated a new harness section, and tied it into the existing circuit. The old trailer plug was removed and replaced, followed by a new coiled harness from the plug to the Moffett.

From there, we replaced the burned-up work light, repaired a break in the strobe light harness, and replaced two rear 4-inch taillight/blinker assemblies. 💡🔧

We also tackled the leaking front left hub cap. The hub cap was removed, the worn seal was replaced, and all mating surfaces were cleaned before reassembly. The hub was filled with fresh gear oil and checked thoroughly for leaks.

After everything was repaired, we tested the lighting, verified the wiring, confirmed the hub was sealed up properly, and put the International HV607 back into service. Another unit ready to get back to work! 💪🚛
