Two weeks ago, we showed you the front of the Franklin II and told you to stay tuned.
Here's what you've seen since: a shiplap foyer and a vaulted great room. A kitchen that made people stop scrolling. A covered deck with views you don't want to leave. A primary suite with a coffered ceiling and a freestanding tub. And a lower-level entertainment space with pressed tin ceilings and a wet bar that no one sees coming.
But the home is only part of the story. Fair Oaks is one of those neighborhoods that gets it right — mature canopy trees lining the street, thoughtfully designed homes, and enough space between lots to actually breathe.

Every once in a while, a feature of a home just stops you in your tracks. In the Franklin II, it's the lower level.

Most people expect a finished basement to be an afterthought — nice carpet, recessed lights, call it a day. This one is anything but. The entertainment space features ornate black-and-gold pressed tin ceiling tiles, full-height dark cabinetry, a custom wet bar with an antiqued mirror tile backsplash, beverage refrigerator, and brass fixtures that feel more speakeasy than suburban. Board-and-batten wainscoting wraps the room in a deep gray tone with a natural wood rail. Built-in shelving flanks the wet bar on both sides.

Then the adjacent game room opens up wide — carpet, crown molding, a tray ceiling — with direct access to the lower-level patio through French doors.

We love building the spaces people expect. We love even more building the spaces they never saw coming.

The primary suite in the Franklin II was designed around one idea: you've earned this.
The bedroom itself features a coffered ceiling with natural wood insets — the kind of ceiling detail you'd expect in a custom home at twice the price — plus wide-plank hardwood floors, generous natural light, and a room large enough to feel like a retreat without feeling like a hotel.

The bath carries it further. A freestanding soaking tub positioned in front of a picture window overlooking the backyard. Dual vanities with warm wood cabinetry and mixed metal fixtures. A walk-in tile shower with a bench, herringbone accent wall, and a rain head.

How much time would you spend out here?

The Franklin II backs to open space and rolling tree lines — and the back deck was designed to make the most of every inch of that view. The covered portion features a tongue-and-groove wood ceiling, a ceiling fan, and a vaulted gable peak that mirrors the home's front elevation. The open deck section stretches wide, finished in composite decking, with black iron railings and a wood cap rail that keeps the look grounded.

Slide open the doors from the great room and suddenly inside and outside are the same conversation.

We'll just say it: this kitchen is the reason people stop scrolling.

Slate-blue cabinetry with brushed gold hardware. A show-stopping 6-burner professional range with a pot-filler. Custom range hood with a natural wood accent.

Marble-look quartz countertops that run the full length of the kitchen and wrap a two-tier island that seats your whole crew. Warm brass cage pendants overhead. A farmhouse sink on the island. And if you look closely — a built-in butler's pantry station tucked just around the corner with its own counter space.

Every choice in this kitchen was intentional. The color, the hardware, the layout. It's built to cook in, to gather in, and honestly, to just stand in and feel good about.

The moment you step through those solid wood double doors, you know this isn't your average new build.

The foyer of the Franklin II sets the tone immediately — shiplap accent wall, wide-plank white oak flooring, a modern geometric pendant light overhead, and a staircase with cable railing that quietly says we thought this through.

Meet the Franklin II — a gorgeous build now standing in Fair Oaks, and she does not disappoint!

Stone, brick, and board-and-batten siding. Hand-stained wood accents in the gable peaks. A covered front porch that makes you want to slow down before you even walk in the door. Tucked into one of the most beautiful tree-lined streets we've had the pleasure of building on, this one checked every box before a single shovel hit the ground.
