We would like to recognize and congratulate Mr. Samuel Riddick on his retirement. Sam started as a mixer driver back in April of 2001. Steve Johnson, VA Operations Manager had nothing but great things to say about his time working with him.
"Sam was one of the most trustworthy and dependable drivers around. Always showed up ready to work, no drama and in a great mood. Very quick witted and never shy on the radio. Always quick with a comment and never afraid to speak up with common sense. He kept it real and kept things moving, usually had everyone one cracking a smile while doing it.
Guys like Sam make the job easier on everyone, hard worker, solid teammate and someone you could trust to handle business, been a great asset to this crew for a long time and his presence around the plants, job sites and on the radio will definitely be missed.
