Minimum Skills and Knowledge Required

Grade 12 / NQF level 4 or the equivalent.

Strong product knowledge in bearings and power transmission

Must be able to read and understand technical drawings in order to analyse technical problems.

Well developed basic arithmetic and analytical skills in order to draw up quotations, monitor sales targets, etc.

Computer literate and working knowledge of Sap will be a great advantage.

Must have at least 3-5 years exp. In a similar role, in a similar environment.

Behavioural Dimensions Required

Well-groomed and neat at all times.

Must have exceptional communication skills.

Ability to think and react on their feet.

Good interpersonal skills.

Sound negotiation skills

Duties:

Responsible for walk-in customer sales.

General client liaison

Support to External sales representative

Monitoring of respective sales targets and a variety of calculations.

Preparation of quotations, and follow up a must.

Stock control and adherence to ISO requirements.

Related administration procedures, including stock related management practises.
