Spray booth ventilation isn’t as simple as moving air.

In paint and finishing environments, airflow needs to be carefully controlled. Too much can disrupt the application. Too little leaves hazardous fumes and overspray lingering in the workspace.

Depending on the setup and local requirements, systems may also need to account for solvent recovery or additional extraction, all while keeping noise levels in check.

At Aerotech Fans, we offer a wide range of fan configurations, blades and mounting options to deliver solutions that meet both performance demands and compliance requirements.

In video five of the series, James Mathis from New York Blower breaks down the fan arrangement types that play a key role in performance across industrial applications 📹

This session covers centrifugal fan arrangements including 1, 3, 4, 7, 8, 9 and 10, along with axial fan arrangements, with a closer look at the commonly used configurations of arrangements 4 and 9.

Understanding these variations is essential when selecting the right fan for your application.

This is where performance starts to take shape.

For Aerotech Fans, key production processes like laser cutting and welding happen right here in Bayswater, alongside AirEng Pty Ltd.

Keeping these stages in-house means greater control over how each component is formed, fitted and finished.

From the workshop floor in Bayswater, Melbourne, this is where it all comes together.

For Aerotech Fans, it means our fans are built in an environment where design, engineering and manufacturing work side by side, not across multiple sites. The result is faster decisions, greater consistency and performance you can rely on.

Working alongside AirEng Pty Ltd in the same facility allows us to maintain control throughout the process and deliver quality across every build.

When heat and fumes build up, fixed systems aren’t always the answer 💨

In environments like smelters, steel mills, foundries and boiler rooms, local hot spots and air quality issues can shift quickly. Installing permanent ventilation isn’t always practical or cost effective.

That’s where Aerotech’s Portable Mancooler Fans come in.

Designed to deliver fresh air exactly where it’s needed, they provide a flexible, low cost solution for spot cooling, fume extraction, process cooling and general ventilation.

What does “Australian Made” really mean in practice?

For Aerotech Fans and AirEng Pty Ltd, it’s more than where our fans and blowers are built.

It’s about keeping key processes close. Designing, engineering and manufacturing from our shared Bayswater, Melbourne facility so we can maintain control, consistency and quality throughout.

Fewer handovers. Greater visibility. Better outcomes for our customers.

Australian Made. Under one roof.
