Custom homes, built for real life. Building in Brisbane & surrounding regions. www.nuvohomes.com.au

We’re Nuvo Homes – a boutique custom builder based in Brisbane, creating thoughtfully designed homes that respond to the land and the people who live on it. With 20 years of experience, we specialise in building on the kinds of blocks other builders shy away from, whether that’s sloping, narrow, complex, or just a little unconventional. We approach every home with care, clarity, and purpose because custom building should feel considered, not complicated.

A home that draws the eye, without feeling out of place.

Our clients wanted to bring character to the exterior through a thoughtful mix of stone, cladding and battens. Each material adds its own texture, working together to create a home that feels considered, balanced and right at home in its surroundings. Here's the details:

01: Gable battens
02: Stone Design & Co. Casuarina stone wall cladding
03: Square aluminium handrail, hit & miss style
04: COLORBOND steel slimline garage door in Dover White

We're back in Ashgrove, and this build is a great example of why every block needs a different approach.

Located in a flood-prone area, this home is being built on stilts, raising the main living level 1.8 metres above the natural ground. This helps reduce the risk of floodwater entering the habitable areas of the home while providing some increased room for parking.

Here's a first look at how this one is taking shape.

02: Tiles Mod Fingers in White
03: Abey Australia Lucia Pull Out Spray Mixer in brushed brass
04: Caesarstone Empira White benchtops
05: Polytec half round Steccawood in Ercu Oak

Manly West has officially been handed over, and another Nuvo family is settling into their new custom home.

A big thank you to our wonderful clients for trusting us to bring their home to life. We’re proud of what we’ve created together and hope you enjoy every moment.

At our upcoming display, the kitchen is starting to take shape with cabinetry in place and stone installation underway.

With this space, we wanted to find a balance. Something that feels a little different from the standard, without overdoing it for the sake of making a statement. It's about how each decision comes together to create a kitchen that doesn't sacrifice practicality.

More to come from Wavell Heights - it's not too far away now.

Two homes, two very different styles. A little site update from Salisbury.

With both homes nearing completion, we’re starting to see our clients’ vision for this double build come together. One takes a warmer, textural Hamptons approach with gold accents, while the other has a more modern, architectural feel with clean lines and black hardware.

Here, we’re taking a closer look at the finishing touches, with Daz on site fitting entry handles and staining the timber stairs.

Our team recently visited the Beaumont Tiles Queensland head office in Rochedale, spending some time in the showroom exploring their latest tiles, finishes and products.

Getting into the showroom gives our team a chance to see what’s new, revisit the range in person and stay across the latest finishes and product updates - all part of making considered selections for the homes we build.
