Celebrating the Building Service Contractors Association of Australia( BSCAA) Awards 2026.

Our team attended the BSCAA Queensland Awards alongside members of our management team. It was a fun and memorable evening celebrating the people and organisations contributing to the building services industry. The magic show by Master of Ceremonies and acclaimed illusionist Josh Norbido was a highlight.

A special congratulations to Ruwan De Silva, who has now won the Eco Warrior Award three times in a row: at the 2025 and 2026 Victorian Awards ceremonies, and again at this year’s Queensland Awards.

Ruwan has been part of Blue Sky for eight years and has played an important role in advancing our sustainability goals. Through significant environmental improvements and the programs he has implemented, he has helped make sustainability part of how we work.

We’re proud to see Ruwan’s contribution recognised across the industry.

Proud to share that Blue Sky Services has successfully completed our latest Integrated Management System recertification with Intertek SAI Global , covering:

- ISO 9001 : Quality Management
- ISO 14001 : Environmental Management
- ISO 45001 : Occupational Health & Safety

𝗕𝗹𝘂𝗲 𝗦𝗸𝘆 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝗵𝗮𝘀 𝗯𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗜𝗦𝗢 𝗰𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗲𝗱 𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝟮𝟬𝟭𝟭, meaning we have now maintained recognised management system certification for 𝟭𝟱 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗲𝗰𝘂𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀.

Over that time, our systems have continued to evolve with the business, and we are particularly proud that our recent recertification was completed without any non-conformances.

For us, ISO certification has never been about having a certificate on the wall. Our is embedded into the way we operate every day , how we manage responsibility compliance and continuous-improvement.

Maintaining certification over 15 years without a non compliance takes discipline, consistency and a strong commitment from many people across the business.

𝗧𝗼𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝗮 𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 Blue Sky Services 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗺 𝗮𝘀 𝘄𝗲 𝘁𝗼𝗼𝗸 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗢𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗮’𝘀 𝗪𝗮𝗹𝗸 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗪𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀.

For the past six consecutive years, we have been incredibly proud to support this wonderful foundation and stand alongside the Olivia Newton-John Cancer and Wellness Centre & Austin Health and the wider community.

It was fantastic to see many of our Blue Sky Services team and families come together today at the beautiful Alexandra Gardens In Melbourne, We were also proud to be the 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗠𝗲𝗱𝗮𝗹 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗻𝗲𝗿, 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝟵:𝟬𝟬 𝗮𝗺 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝟵:𝟬𝟱 𝗮𝗺 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘄𝗮𝘃𝗲𝘀 𝗻𝗮𝗺𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗕𝗹𝘂𝗲 𝗦𝗸𝘆 𝗪𝗮𝘃𝗲𝘀.

While today marked the end of the walk, the and created through this event will live on for many years to come.

It was a pleasure to attend the Northern Health Foundation 𝗗𝗼𝗻𝗼𝗿 𝗧𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗸 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁 last night.

The Foundation plays an important role in supporting Northern Health by raising funds for life-changing medical equipment, capital works, research and training- helping improve care for patients and the rapidly growing northern community.

As both an ongoing supporter of the Foundation and a service partner to Northern Health, we were grateful for the opportunity to hear first-hand about the impact this support continues to make across the service.

Blue Sky Services is proud to continue supporting Northern Health and to play a small part in such an important healthcare community.

What a great way to finish off the TEFMA (𝗧𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗙𝗮𝗰𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻) 2026 Conference.

After a fantastic few days of conversations, connections and learning, our Blue Sky Services team attended the 𝗧𝗘𝗙𝗠𝗔 𝗚𝗮𝗹𝗮 & 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘀 𝗗𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗿, held at the historic Melbourne Town Hall last night.

It was a great opportunity to catch up with industry colleagues, reflect on the conference and celebrate the people and achievements across the tertiary education and facilities management sector.

A big thank you to TEFMA for a great conference and to everyone who stopped by our stand and spent time with our team.

We look forward to continuing the conversations and building on the connections made over the past few days.
