🔧 CASE STUDY | ROM Tunnel Refurbishment 🔧

DGC successfully delivered concrete remediation and pedestal repair works within the ROM Tunnel at German Creek Coal Mine for UGL during a 4-week shutdown.

The scope of works included:
✔️ Approx. 40m² of concrete remediation works
✔️ Steel reinforcement repairs up to N40
✔️ Form & pour concrete placement works
✔️ Pedestal and grout pad repairs on conveyor footings
✔️ Surface preparation and zinc-rich coating application to exposed reinforcement

Completed within a challenging underground environment, the project highlighted DGC’s capability in delivering safe and efficient structural remediation works across the mining sector. 👏
