Preparations for the wall ride have begun and the shapes just keep getting better. The team is getting close to testing, and we’re excited to see this one start to ride as good as it looks 👀

đź“Ť Geelong MTB Park, VIC
Asphalt is down, paint is complete, and landscaping is now underway. We’re aiming to have this one wrapped up in the next week or so.

A huge thank you to everyone who has respected the site fencing and stayed out while we finish construction. Unfortunately, unauthorised access continues to delay progress and creates additional work for the team. Please give us a little more time to finish the job properly, the sooner we can complete the final works, the sooner we can open the facility for everyone to enjoy đź’Ą

Asphalt is complete! Massive effort from the crew to get this project to the next stage. We’re excited to see the final touches come together.

Unfortunately, some eager locals have been accessing the site before completion, which has delayed opening while we carry out repairs and clean-up works. We ask everyone to please stay out just a little longer. Giving us the space to finish properly will help get this facility open and ready for everyone sooner đź’Ą

Common Ground Trails is currently looking for experienced Excavator Operators and Labourers with trail building experience to join us on exciting projects across Victoria and New South Wales.

Current Projects:

• Tenterfield Mountain Bike Trails and Bike Park, NSW - 20 kilometres of new trails plus a huge bike park featuring jump lines
• Glenfield Bike Park, NSW - a large jump park featuring a pump track and jump lines
• Aldershot Reserve Pump Track, VIC – a large-scale progressive pump track as part of a major upgrade to Aldershot Reserve in St Albans Park

We’re currently recruiting for a Site Supervisor and experienced Excavator Operators to join Common Ground Trails in Tenterfield, New South Wales!

Build Something Epic in Tenterfield:

Tenterfield is set to become a premier trail destination. We are building a huge bike park close to town, featuring:

• 20 kilometres of new trails
• Green, blue, and black difficulty levels
• Lots of jumps
• Creative and interesting features – we have lots of granite and rock to work with, and ideas for unique riding experiences

The broader project will deliver more than 100 kilometres of trail in total - such an exciting project to be part of!

We have work in Tenterfield through to next year and beyond, as well as other incredible career opportunities on other projects in New South Wales and around Australia.

JOIN THE COMMON GROUND ASPHALT PARTY!

We’re nearing completion of the Lalor Park Jump Track in Esperance, Western Australia and it’s time to lay asphalt!

We’re looking for a couple of General Labourers to help bring this epic project to life.

Whether you’re a passionate rider travelling through the area or a proud local keen to earn serious bragging rights, this is your chance to be part of something awesome.

Details:

- Short-term work: Monday, 13th April to Friday, 17th April

What We’re Looking For:

- White Card
- General labouring experience (civil construction preferred)
- Asphalt experience is a bonus, but not essential
- Physically fit and ready to get stuck in

You’ll be working alongside a crew of absolute legends. And the best part? You’ll get to ride the new Lalor Park Jump Track before anyone else.

We only have a couple of spots and they will fill quickly. Apply by the close of business on Thursday, 9th April.

This is a rare opportunity to join Common Ground Trails. We’ve had a full team for a long time, but with a busy period ahead, we’re now recruiting:

• Construction Supervisors
• Machine Operators (including immediate start opportunities)
• Skilled Labourers (including immediate start opportunities)

Currently Recruiting for Projects in:

• Townsville, QLD
• Geelong, VIC
• Campbelltown, NSW

With additional projects upcoming across the East Coast and Western Australia.

What We’re Looking For:

• A passion for mountain biking
• Experience building mountain bike trails or pump tracks (preferred), or experience in civil construction, landscaping, or labouring with a strong understanding of trail flow and shaping
• Excavator and skid steer tickets and experience (required for the Supervisor and Operator roles)
• White Card and driver’s licence

JOIN THE COMMON GROUND CREW

We have a big year ahead, with an exciting lineup of trail and pump track projects across Australia.

This is a rare opportunity to join our crew. We’ve had a full team for a long time, but with a busy period ahead, we’re now looking to bring on Machine Operators and Skilled Labourers for projects kicking off early to mid-February in New South Wales and Victoria.

We also have additional work planned throughout the East Coast in the coming months, as well as trail and pump track projects in Western Australia.

If you’ve been thinking about a career in trail building and want to work with a leader in the industry, now is the time!

Requirements:

• A passion for mountain biking
• Experience building mountain bike trails and/or pump tracks is preferred. We’ll also consider candidates from civil construction, landscaping, or labouring backgrounds who genuinely love mountain biking and have a strong understanding of trail flow, shaping, and riding dynamics
• Excavator and skid steer tickets and experience (required for Machine Operator roles only)
• Driver’s licence and White Card

• The Paddocks Reserve, Para Hills - completed by late January 2026
• Unity Park Reserve, Pooraka - completed by late February 2026
