We are proud of our current home at the Moruya Waste Transfer Station, although the journey has sometimes been a little bumpy. But it’s through partnerships like the one we have with our mates at Southcoast Health & Sustainability Alliance that we’re able to keep moving forward. Recently SHASA helped us purchase new 24/7 cameras, which give us peace of mind knowing that the site we’ve all invested so much into is secure. Thank you SHASA for your ongoing support and recognition of the work that we’re doing for the local community.

Due to the high winds we have had to closed the centre early for safety reason, but we will back next Saturday and looking forward to seeing you all.

🌞 Imagine if you could put together an off grid PV solar array [panels & racking] for less than the cost of a tank of fuel? On the 1st Saturday of every month you can cash in on our reused solar panels for only a $1 each. We have panels ranging from 100-300watts.

Swing by the RfR Reuse Centre on Saturday between 9:30am-12.30pm, and even benefit from some free advice from our inhouse contractors.

To access these services you just need to be a member...but dont worry, you can sign up on the day for only $10, cash and card options available.

The RfR community reuse centre is located inside the Moruya Waste Transfer Station at 21 Yaragee Rd Moruya. Be sure to stop in at the Councils green shed on a Saturday and let them know you are visiting.

Were turning problematic plastic lids into new creations - talk about recycling with a lid-iculous twist!

The RfR has teamed up with the super legends Lids4Kids Australia and IMB Bank to help tackle those pesky plastic lids in the Eurobodalla!

Were collecting all types, sizes, and colours of lids (just make sure they’re clean) to try our hand at turning them into something much more awesome.

Drop off your lids at the RfR community reuse centre on a Saturday between 9:30 am and 2:30 pm to kickstart their journey.

The centre is located inside the Council’s Moruya Waste Transfer Station at 21 Yarragee Rd Moruya. When you arrive be sure to say hello to the guys at the Green shed and let them know you’re here to see us. X

Reminder to Help us give plastic lids a second life! Save any type, size, shape, or color of lids — just make sure they’re nice and clean.
Then, bring them into the RfR Community Reuse Centre, located inside The Moruya Waste Transfer Station on 21 Yarragee Rd Moruya.

We’re open every Saturday from 9:30 AM to 2:30 PM.

These small lids can cause big issues in the waste stream, but we’re now able to repurpose them into practical and useful items.

We were thrilled to have the recent opportunity to provide our reusable mug service at Councils annual staff breakfast, as part of our ‘Plate Forward’ initiative.
This simple yet effective service may be a little more effort, but eliminates the need for single-use packaging at events…and we even take care of the washing up!
A big thank-you to the Sustainability team for leading by example - your commitment is encouraging.

This is a FREE service to all RfR members.

🌟 On the tail end of Landcare week, the Repurposing for Resilience team extends a heartfelt THANK YOU to Landcare NSW and Citizen Blue for our upgraded signage at the RfR Community Reuse Centre! 🌟

As a largely unfunded NFP community organisation, getting shiny new things can be a rarity and we are thrilled to have these fresh directional signs to help guide visitors down to the centre. Your support means the world to us!

A big shout-out also to Legend Tony from Moruya Signs for making it all happen. 🙌
