It was a pleasure to host Horsham College and Alternative Program students at Murra Warra Wind Farm for their Renewable Energy excursion last week ☀️

Our team enjoyed sharing insights into how a wind farm operates — from live turbine data and control systems to the day-to-day realities of working on site!

Students had the chance to see a turbine up close during a maintenance operation and were provided with a safety equipment breakdown ✅

Our team delivered an engaging session for students, sharing their real-world experience working in the renewables industry.

More than $6.3 million has been invested in community projects and local infrastructure across the region, focused on practical benefits that matter day to day and over the long term. 📍

Western Sydney-based steel-cutting company Precision Oxycut is producing the anchor cages that form the foundation of our turbines 🛠️

Precision Oxycut cuts the plates for the cages using steel from BlueScope Australia, while Allthread Industries makes the bolts 🔩

Power prices are coming down from July.

Today’s Default Market Offer shows bill relief for households and small businesses across New South Wales and south-east Queensland.

The fall in prices reflects record output from wind and battery storage pushing down the cost of electricity.

As more renewable generation comes online, we’re seeing the benefits start to flow through - but today's CEC report shows that investment is at its lowest level in years.

Accelerating new renewable projects will be critical to keep prices moving in the right direction.

We were delighted to attend the Dubbo Show over the weekend for the start of the Sports Shear New South Wales season!

Competitors took to the stage, shearing scores of sheep as they vied for selection in the NSW team 🐑

Squadron Energy will proudly back the NSW team as they compete at 24 rural shows across the state over the coming months.

We’re excited to be joining Iberdrola Australia and CS Energy to deliver a $750,000 upgrade to the Broadsound telecommunications tower – to improve safety and access for communities near our Clarke Creek Wind Farm in central Queensland!

The upgrade is the result of a regional collaboration between renewable energy developers and Isaac Regional Council to deliver a benefit package shaped by local priorities 📦🤝

The package also includes support for:

* safer roads
* a careers expo for local students
* a feral pest management program
* future-focused energy solutions for local schools
