PORTICO CEILING DETAILS | WETHERILL PARK
It’s often the finer details that make a design truly special.
To introduce texture, warmth and visual interest to the grand, high ceiling of the front Portico of our Wetherill Park client build, we recommended to our client Weathertex Weathergroove Woodsman 150mm panelling in a natural finish in place of external plasterboard.
Being visible from the street, the Portico ceiling was an opportunity to introduce another layer of detail to the home's facade. The natural timber-look finish brings warmth and works beautifully alongside the stonework, whilst creating a striking contrast against the darker rendered walls.

ORGANIC TEXTURES
When choosing the material and colour selections for your new home or renovation, it's often the textures that really bring a space to life.
Think the raw, tactile surface of natural stone used on a feature fireplace, the warmth of natural timber in your joinery, or the beautiful veining and natural movement of stone used for benchtops and splashbacks.
While colour plays an important role, incorporating natural, organic textures is what adds depth, warmth and interest to a design.
Beautiful stone surfaces, natural timbers, textured finishes and subtle variations in tone all work together to create layers of interest, adding character and a sense of warmth that makes a house feel like a home.

NEVER UNDERESTIMATE THE POWER OF TAPWARE
Think of tapware as the jewellery of your space. With so many beautiful designs and finishes available, the right choice can elevate a room and bring the entire design together.
From antique bronze and brushed brass to chrome, brushed nickel and matt black, the options are endless. Match your tapware to your joinery hardware & light fittings for a cohesive look, or mix your metals for a more layered, designer feel.
For our recently completed Wetherill Park custom build, our clients selected ABI Interiors ‘Namika’ Kitchen Mixer in Brushed Nickel for the Kitchen, Butlers Pantry, Laundry & Alfresco.
We love the beautiful linear knurling detail on the handle. It’s those subtle design details that add texture, character and a touch of sophistication, elevating both the tapware and the space it sits within.
