This Thanksgiving, we’re grateful for the people who make it all happen.

From our teams in the office to our crews in the field, thank you for the hard work, commitment and teamwork you bring every day.

Wishing our employees, customers, partners and everyone we have the opportunity to work with throughout the year a safe and happy Thanksgiving. 🦃

Mental health matters on and off the job.

Today is World Mental Health Day, a time to recognize the importance of checking in, looking out for one another and knowing where to turn when support is needed.

If you or someone you know could use support, these resources are available:

➡️ Energy Safety Canada's Psychological Health and Safety Resource Centre: https://bit.ly/4AWt5SG

➡️ Government of Canada’s mental health support page: https://bit.ly/4yF2NTy

We also want to give a big shoutout to Run the patch - led by two Alberta rig hands, for bringing people in our industry together around mental health as they prepare to take on the Calgary Marathon in May 2027.

Great crews make great operations.

On a drilling rig, getting the job done takes teamwork, trust and everyone doing their part.

Shift after shift.

The equipment matters, but it’s the people beside you who make the difference.

Tell us about the best crew you’ve worked with. What made them stand out? 👇

From “FORE!” to $4K raised. ⛳

On September 24, we hosted the Western Energy Golf Classic 2026 at Innisfail Golf Club, bringing together members of our leadership team, employees, clients and customers for a great day on the course.

Together, we raised $4,000 for STARS Ambulance, a critical service we are proud to support in the communities where we live and work.

A big thank you to everyone who joined us, and to the vendors who generously donated prizes, services, food and drinks to help make the day a success.

We’re already looking forward to next year.

Today, we pause to recognize the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation and Orange Shirt Day.

At Western Energy Services, we stand with Indigenous communities in honouring Survivors, remembering the children who never returned home and recognizing the lasting impacts of the residential school system.

We also recognize the importance of the lands where we work and of continuing to build meaningful relationships rooted in respect, understanding and partnership.

Strong equipment. Steady oversight. One operation moving together.

In the middle of every job is a team keeping an eye on the details, coordinating the work and making sure the operation keeps moving safely and efficiently.

It takes capable equipment, experienced people and constant attention to get the job done right.

Safety is serious. Recognizing it can still be fun.

Congrats to Tyson Munkler from Rig 51, who took 1st place in this week’s LID/Hazard ID recognition.

His logged observation helped prevent a potential hand injury - a great example of why taking the time to identify and report hazards matters.

Stop. Step Back. Act.

And sometimes, take home a cooler too. 👏

Compact footprint. Targeted performance. Built for complex leases.

Rig 14 is part of Western Energy Services’ ELR Class 3 fleet, designed for smaller and more complex lease environments where mobility and efficiency matter.

Key features include:

✅ Compact footprint for tighter lease conditions
✅ Center section walking/skidding capability
✅ Well suited for 2–4 well clusters supporting multilateral wells

A strong fit for programs that need flexibility without sacrificing performance.
