Fernie Lions Club give back to our community in so many ways, and the Demo Derby is one of the events that helps make that possible.

Every job deserves a little celebration — big, small, easy… or one of those “well, this got interesting” kind of jobs. 😂

Around here, we work hard, figure it out as we go, laugh whenever possible, celebrate getting it DONE…

And then it’s on to the next adventure. 🚛💨

Because around here, you never really know what the next phone call is going to bring. 😂

Thankful for our crew who shows up, never complains about the longer hours (as long as you feed them) and still smile at the end of a long day/weekend. We couldn’t do what we do without them..

If you’re looking for big machines and dirt flying… today’s not your day. 😂

Today we’re flushing water lines in a brand-new subdivision.

Fancy? Nope.
Necessary? Absolutely.

It’s not the glamorous side of construction, but it’s an important one. We run clean water through the new lines to flush everything out and make sure they’re ready to flow properly before the homes are built.

It’s one of those behind-the-scenes jobs most people never think about-but it’s all part of the process.

Around here, we never know what the next phone call will have us doing… and honestly, that’s half the fun. 🚛💧

We’re looking for reliable, hardworking Labourer’s to join our team.

No two days are the same around here. One day you might be helping at an event, the next working in the yard, and the next out on a job site. If you like variety and aren’t afraid to get your hands dirty, you’ll fit right in.

What we’re looking for:

* Valid Class 5 driver’s licence (minimum)
* Current driver’s abstract
* Willingness to learn and pitch in wherever needed
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced, sometimes chaotic (but always entertaining) environment
* Some weekend work is required
* Age 19+ is an asset for access to EVR job sites

💦 Need Water?… We got you…

Our water tankers haul roughly 10,000 litres each… and we’ve got two of them. That’s 20,000 litres of “liquid problem solving”😆

We’ve used them for fire suppression & dust control on job sites, and this past weekend helping keep the water flowing at a nearby camp housing complex.

The water comes straight from the local town hydrant, so it’s clean municipal water. That said, we’re always a little cautious about calling it potable once it’s been hauled and transferred. Our advice? Use it for showers, toilets, laundry, dishes, and all the day-to-day stuff. For drinking, maybe keep a few bottles of water handy for a couple of days just to be safe.

Just another service we offer that many people don’t even realize we do. 💦

Another day.. Another adventure… 🏔️

Most people take the chairlift to get to the top of the mountain… We take the Vac truck. 😂

Today’s mission: service the pit toilets so they’re ready for all the skiers, snowboarders, hikers, and adventurers who’ll be enjoying these views.

Fresh mountain air, incredible views… Not a bad place to spend the day, even if the cargo isn’t exactly glamorous..

Just another day, striving to be #1 in the #2 business. 💩🏆
