Reception and support Agent
Osisko Space and Copper Interpretation Center
Are you looking for an exciting summer job that keeps you on your toes, in touch with the world, right in the heart of Murdochville?
We’re hiring for Osisko Space, a new place opening soon to the community, inside the Copper Interpretation Centre, where visitors come to learn more about Murdochville’s mining history and the Mines Gaspé project.
What you'll be doing:
Greeting visitors (locals and tourists)
Answer questions and explain the project in simple terms
Presenting the features of the interpretation center (history, content, exhibits)
Help with outdoor maintenance (lawn care, cleaning, minor manual tasks, painting, etc.) and any other related tasks
Maintain a professional and energetic presence in the spaces
Listen to visitors and relay their concerns and feedback to the team
Support the Director of Community engagement and Vice President Environment and Sustainability
What we're looking for:
Someone comfortable interacting with people
Can explain complex information in a clear and accessible way
An interest in Murdochville, its history, and its current situation
Someone who isn't afraid to get their hands a little dirty outdoors
Independence and resourcefulness
Bilingualism (a plus), but you must speak French

📆 Schedule: 10 days on / 4 days off (rotation)
🕐 40 hours per week
📍 Location: Murdochville

💵 Salary in accordance with current standards
