The Wildlife Society (TWS) is an international, nonprofit organization of wildlife professionals and students dedicated to scientifically-informed wildlife education and conservation. TWS has worked to improve wildlife conservation by advancing the science of wildlife management, promoting continuing education of wildlife professionals, and advocating for sound, science-based wildlife policy. Have you ever wondered how animal tracking works? 📸🐾 Well, the TWS team is hosting an animal tracking workshop! Get hands-on and discover the hidden tech that lets researchers follow animals in the wild!🎞️🐻

This event will take place over 2 days.

🦊Day 1: Animal Tracking Workshop (Zoom or In person)  
⏰Date and Time: Saturday, January 31st - 1pm - 3pm 
📍Location: FSC (Forestry Building) 1220 or Zoom (Link to be sent out!) 
*Free for all 

📸Day 2: Field Practicum! Test the skills that you learned from day 1! 
⏰Date and Time:  Sunday, February 1st - 10am - 1pm 
📍Location: Dress warm as we will be meeting outside the Forestry Building and tracking outside! 
*$5 for non-members, free for members

Calling out all the fishheads! 🐟

Are you guys ready for our next TWS adventure? Join us for our Annual Guided Salmon Run Trip hosted by the Port Moody Ecological Society! 🐟🍁 This trip is a fantastic opportunity to learn about the cultural and ecological importance of salmon, and enjoy a guided tour of the hatchery with fellow salmon enthusiasts!

Spots are limited, so be sure to sign up ASAP! TWS members get early access on October 11 via email, and the form opens for everyone on October 12✨!

Fees:
- $15 non-members
- ⁠$10 TWS members

Hey guys! Ready for the first TWS trip of the year?? We are bringing back our famous bird banding workshop in collaboration with WildResearch at the Iona Beach Regional Park! 🪶🦉🌿

Spots are limited, so be sure to sign up ASAP! The link will be posted in our bio on September 17. Members get early access on September 16 via email. After that, the form will open to everyone on September 17.
