This week saw the near completion of our joint project with Landform Ltd in Forres.🌿

This week’s scope of works included:

🔷Levelling and positioning the tanks

🔷Reinstalling the porcelain coping

🔷Creating planting pits for the client to develop and plant over time

🔷Backfilling the area with the client’s chosen materials

🔷Installing crushed turquoise glass to the base of the pools

🔷Installing coping to the sleeper retention

The project is really starting to take shape, with the key structural and landscaping elements now in place.💧

We will return in the coming weeks once the electrician has completed the pump wiring. At that stage, we’ll set the flow rates and install the remaining surface materials to bring the project to completion! ✔️

Over the last couple of weeks, we’ve been busy working alongside Landform Ltd in Forres, Moray, on a large bespoke water feature project. 🌊

Works completed so far include:
• Full site excavation and waste removal
• All levels marked and set for individual concrete pads
• X5 concrete pads formed and poured
• Lines and posts set for sleeper retention

This is a fantastic project to be part of, and we’re excited to see it continue taking shape over the coming weeks.

We were back with a client in Drumoak last week to complete the final stage of their groundworks package, with a brand new tar driveway. 🚧

Our full scope of works on this project included:
• Removal of the existing garage base and foundations
• Excavation and pouring of new foundations
• Backfilling, insulating, and pouring a new garage floor
• Installation and connection of new surface water drainage
• Completion of a fresh new tarmac driveway

It’s always satisfying to see a project through from start to finish. A big thank you to everyone involved in delivering a smooth finish on tarring day.

Another job wrapped up last week in Banchory! 🔨

We started by clearing and removing all the initial waste, to be met with two pretty substantially sized tree stumps! Safe to say they didn’t come out without a fight. 🌳🚧

Once that battle was won, we got the levels adjusted to transform the space into something properly usable, before finishing it off with a solid layer of type 1 sub base for a clean, durable surface.

Last year we completed a full landscape package, and this time we returned to upgrade one of the boundary fences with double slats for added privacy. While we were there, we also refreshed the borders with fresh bark mulch, perfectly prepped for the growing season ahead. 🌱

Our new digger mounted flail mower really proved its worth on this site. 💪

We tackled over a quarter mile of access track that hadn’t been maintained in nearly 10 years. The overgrown whin bushes were cut back by 600–700mm along the sides, with heights reduced by over 1m in places, restoring the track back to full access.

While on site, we also scraped back vegetation from the road surface to leave it cleaner and more accessible. We’ll be returning in the future to carry out resurfacing works on the access road.

Another site completed this week in the Auchnagatt area of Aberdeenshire, where we were tasked with securing a property to keep the client’s pets safe. 🐾

Scope of works included:
• Clearing and flail mowing the fence line to create a clean working area
• Supplying and installing Rylok with rabbit mesh, along with x3 plain wires, finished to a height of 1.2m
• Supplying and installing x2 14ft gates, x1 12ft gate, and x1 4ft gate

This week we took delivery of our new digger mounted flail mower. A big thank you to Gus at MB Plant for making the purchase smooth and straightforward once again.

This addition will support us across a wide range of work, from clearing fence lines and tackling and maintaining hard to reach areas, to handling all general clearance works. It’s a practical bit of kit that will help us keep projects moving and sites looking their best.

If you have an area that needs cleared, feel free to get in touch. The flail mower attachment is also available for hire on our machine only.🪏
