🏔️ WE DID IT! 🏔️

After an unforgettable weekend of determination, teamwork and very little sleep, the Murray Building Services team has successfully completed the Three Peaks Challenge!

The team conquered all three peaks, reaching the final summit in Snowdonia just in time to watch the sunrise – a special moment that made all the hard work worthwhile.

When we started this challenge, we set ourselves a fundraising target of £5,000 for Alder Hey Children's Charity and The Christie Charity. Thanks to the incredible support from our clients, suppliers, friends, family and local community, we're delighted to say we've raised an amazing £7,411. Please note it’s not too late to donate (we will keep the page open until all our legs are working again!)

We would also like to say a huge thank you to Bus and Coach World in Blackburn, who generously provided us with two Volkswagen camper vans for the weekend. Their support helped make the challenge possible and kept the team moving between peaks.

To everyone who donated, shared our posts, sent messages of encouragement or supported us along the way – thank you. Every contribution helped motivate the team through some tough conditions and long hours.

We're incredibly proud of what we've achieved together and, most importantly, of the difference this money will make for two fantastic charities.

🏔️ Challenge Update: First Peak Conquered! 🏔️

Despite battling wet and misty conditions, the Murray Building Services team successfully reached the summit of their first peak at 4:30pm yesterday. A fantastic achievement and a great start to the challenge.

The weather may not be on their side, but the team's determination certainly is. With two more peaks still to conquer, they're pushing on and keeping their focus firmly on the finish line.

We're also delighted to share that, thanks to your incredible generosity, we've now raised £6,841 for Alder Hey Children's Charity and The Christie Charity.

Early this morning, the team gathered at the Murray Building Services office, ready to take on the challenge ahead. They are now making their way up Ben Nevis and, despite some typically Scottish wet weather, spirits remain high!

🎉We've Reached Our £5,000 Fundraising Target! 🎉

A huge thank you to everyone who has supported the Murray Building Services National Three Peaks Challenge by donating, sharing our posts, and cheering the team on.

Thanks to your incredible generosity, we have now reached our initial fundraising target of £5,000 for Alder Hey Children's Charity and The Christie Charity.

This achievement reflects the amazing support we've received from our clients, supply chain partners, colleagues, friends and families. We are truly grateful for every donation.

While we're delighted to have hit our target, we're not stopping there.

This weekend, our team will take on the challenge of climbing the highest peaks in Scotland, England and Wales – around 23 miles of walking and over 10,000 feet of ascent – and we'd love to raise even more for these two fantastic charities.

This time next week, the Murray Building Services team will take on the National Three Peaks Challenge in support of Alder Hey Children's Charity and The Christie Charity.

To get ready for the challenge, our Procurement Director, Andy Rawlinson, has been putting in the miles and tackling an iconic Ribble Valley climb in preparation for the big weekend ahead.

The challenge will test every member of the team, but we're determined to raise as much money as possible for two charities that mean so much to us.

⛰️ We're Taking on the National Three Peaks Challenge! ⛰️

In just 17 days, the Murray Building Services team will be taking on the National Three Peaks Challenge to raise money for two incredible charities.

Over one weekend, we'll climb:
🏔️ Ben Nevis (Scotland)
🏔️ Scafell Pike (England)
🏔️ Yr Wyddfa / Snowdon (Wales)

That's around 23 miles of walking and over 10,000ft of climbing!

We're raising funds for Alder Hey Children's Charity and The Christie Charity. Alder Hey has been a valued client of ours for many years, and The Christie holds a special place in our hearts, with many of our team and their families having been affected by cancer.
