Founded in 1998, Bristol based MLG UK Ltd is a privately owned construction company. As a family run business we care passionately about our work and value our customers. Our primary goal is to consistently deliver a high quality service that is quick, efficient and safe. MLG UK Ltd undertake work within a variety of construction sectors; from rail infrastructure, to housing and domestic works. We

carry out a variety of services from timber works, concrete, electrical installations and civil engineering. We also supply Project Management and Health and Safety advice. For the past 17 years we have been carrying out works on Network Rail properties and therefore have access to specialist contractors within the rail industry.

🏡 Completed Project | St Monica's House

MLG UK Ltd completed the removal and replacement of the external staircase at St Monica's House as part of a wider project to improve accessibility and safety around the site.

The works included installing new precast concrete stairs, retaining walls, metal railings and associated finishing works, delivering a durable and modern access route while ensuring the surrounding areas were fully reinstated.

A great result from the team, delivering another high-quality project from start to finish.

🏡 Completed Project | Roof Refurbishment, Bristol Union Street

MLG UK Ltd completed the supply and installation of a full built-up roofing system in central Bristol using the Polyroof Protec liquid system, providing a 25-year guarantee.

With the building remaining fully occupied throughout the project, our team carefully managed the works to prevent water ingress while replacing the existing roof with a new 130mm built-up system. Polygrip walkways were also installed to improve durability and safety.

This project demonstrates MLG UK's commitment to delivering high-quality roofing solutions with minimal disruption to occupied buildings.

🔨 Project Update | Swansea Station

Work continues to progress at Swansea Station, with MLG UK's roofing team successfully completing the Polyroof installation to the upper roof and mansard roof.

The team is now focusing on the lower roof elevations as the next phase of the project gets underway. We look forward to sharing more updates as works continue.

🔨 Completed Project | Swindon New College

MLG UK Ltd replaced the existing roof system with a new high-performance waterproofing solution, delivering the project within the six-week summer break to ensure the college was ready for the new academic year.

Despite challenging weather and a demanding programme, the team successfully delivered a high-quality roof upgrade that will provide long-term protection for the college's plant equipment and facilities.

🏡Completed Project | Cambridge House

MLG UK Ltd completed a 100m² Polyroof Protec overlay to the link roof at Cambridge House.

Working together, our AC and Roofing teams removed the existing air conditioning units, installed the new roofing system, and then reinstated and recommissioned the units once the works were complete.

This project highlights our ability to deliver coordinated solutions across multiple trades, ensuring minimal disruption while achieving a high-quality finish.

🏡 Completed Project | Bath Spa Station, Bath

MLG UK Ltd completed the design, supply and installation of a new GRP daggerboard system across all platforms at Bath Spa Station.

Working on a Grade II* listed station, the project required close collaboration with the local conservation team to preserve the station's historic character while introducing durable modern materials. Using 3D scanning technology, the original architectural details were carefully replicated to create a finish that respected the station's heritage while providing a long-lasting solution.

We're proud to have contributed to the preservation of one of Bath's iconic railway stations.

🏡Completed Project | Bristol Temple Meads Station

MLG UK Ltd recently completed the design and construction of a temporary ticket office within the historic Bonaparte Building at Bristol Temple Meads Station.

Built in just 10 weeks, the temporary facility allowed ticket services to continue while the main station building underwent refurbishment. Working within a Grade II listed building and a live station environment, the project required careful planning to protect the building's historic features while meeting modern security requirements.

This project highlights MLG UK's ability to deliver practical, high-quality solutions in complex and operational environments.

🏡Completed Project | McGee House, Chepstow

In 2021, MLG UK Ltd completed the roofing package for McGee House, a Passivhaus new build in Chepstow.

The project featured a green roof and solar panels, helping to create an energy-efficient and sustainable home while complementing the building's modern design.

We're also proud that the project was recognised as a finalist at the LRWA Awards, highlighting the quality of work delivered by the team.

This project is a great example of our commitment to delivering high-quality, sustainable construction solutions.

🔨 Project Update | Avonside Enterprise Park

Situated alongside the River Avon, the building has a rich history dating back to its days as the former Unigate (Wiltshire United Dairy) processing factory. Over the years it has had many different uses, but now MLG UK Ltd is proud to be transforming a historic building at Avonside Enterprise Park into modern, self-contained business units.

Our team has carried out extensive refurbishment works, including a new roof, drainage system, windows and doors, electrical installations, lighting, toilet and kitchenette facilities, as well as full internal and external redecoration. The cream and black colour scheme has been retained as a nod to the building's heritage.

While the project is still ongoing, it's great to see the transformation taking shape. One of the completed units is already occupied by Mighty Minis, a popular local play café, and we look forward to sharing further updates as the project progresses.
