We’re marking a major milestone in the transformation of our U.S. operations: $1 billion invested in Indiana advanced manufacturing to support national security.

It’s a tangible example of what it means to invest in our strategic choices and turn investment into advanced test capabilities, industry-leading technology and high-quality jobs.

In Indianapolis, those investments have transformed our defense operations and expanded our capacity to deliver mission-critical propulsion with the reliability and performance our customers demand.

Just as important are the people behind that capability. We are powered by a highly skilled Indiana workforce with decades of experience designing, building, testing and supporting engines that power critical missions around the world.

For more than 80 years, Rolls-Royce technology has supported the U.S. military and its allies. Today, we’re investing to ensure we can deliver for the missions ahead, while building a stronger, more competitive and resilient Rolls-Royce.

Invested in Indiana. Committed to America’s future.

Engineered for more. Chosen with confidence.

At Farnborough, the Trent 1000 XE took centre stage, but the real story is the growing number of airlines putting their confidence behind it.

Somon Air recently selected the Trent 1000 XE for its Boeing 787 fleet, building on momentum from other orders this year, including LATAM in April. A clear sign that airlines are looking for more than an engine. They’re looking for efficiency, durability and the confidence to grow.

Bringing that story to life at Farnborough took months of hard work from teams across Rolls-Royce. Our behind-the-scenes documentary captures the journey, and the passion behind it.

Watch the video and see how we brought the Trent 1000 XE to the airshow.

We’re proud to support the British Army with the delivery of the 100th Boxer armoured vehicle – built in the UK for the UK.

The Boxer MIV – one of the most advanced wheeled armored vehicles in the world offering outstanding mobility and protection – is powered by our state-of-the-art mtu 8V199 TE21 engine, which delivers an impressive 600 kW of power and is assembled at our facility in East Grinstead, West Sussex.

The delivery is a significant achievement for the programme, which is being implemented collaboratively between Rheinmetall, KNDS, the British Army, the National Armaments Director Group (NAD Group), Defence Equipment & Support (DE&S), OCCAR, and the ARTEC consortium, as well as a network of British supply chain partners.

More than just a production milestone, the delivery is a tribute to the people, partnerships and industrial expertise that have made the programme possible.

Congratulations to our mtu teams on the manufacture of our 5,000th Series 4000 engine!

The Series 4000 gas engine forms the very heart of high-performance generator sets for decentralised electricity and energy supply – delivering up to 2.5 MW of electrical power, high electrical efficiency and low emissions for energy suppliers, industrial plants, hospitals and data centres.

With gas gensets playing an increasingly important role in powering future capabilities, we’re well positioned to meet rising demand. The next stages of development will focus on continuing to improve the dynamic performance of the engines and further decarbonisation, with the first systems designed to run on 100 per cent hydrogen already in operation.

Here’s to a promising future.

The evolution of one of the world’s most advanced Engine Health Monitoring (EHM) systems doesn’t just happen overnight.

We monitor five million engine parameters every day, translating large volumes of complex data into actionable insights, to optimise efficiency, plan maintenance and keep our customers fleets flying.

Detecting abnormalities in the data, diagnosing the cause and providing timely recommendations directly to operators to optimise maintenance, resulting in minimal downtime and maximum engine availability. At any given time, we are actively monitoring 470 aircraft flying with over 80 customers.

We are creating more space for growth: our diesel generator production site in Ruhstorf, Germany, is expanding to meet the increasing customer demand for energy, optimize our logistics, and invest in future technologies.

From there, we provide critical backup power solutions that help keep data centres, hospitals, airports, and public institutions running when reliability matters most.

By investing in our people, our capabilities, and our German operations, we are strengthening our competitiveness and the resilience of the critical infrastructure our customers depend on every day.

We have supplied offshore oil and gas shipping company Starnav Serviços Marítimos with 40 mtu engines for new hybrid offshore vessels for Brazilian energy company Petrobras.

The mtu 16V 4000 M33S engines will provide on-board power for the company’s platform supply and service recovery vessels – ensuring optimal performance, reliability and environmental compliance through the use of selective catalytic reduction (SCR) systems.

The delivery marks the first time integrated battery systems have been used in this vessel series, reflecting a commitment to supporting operational efficiency through the energy transition.

Ten years ago, Manchester and Beijing were connected by a new route. This month, that connection entered a new chapter.

Hainan Airlines Global has launched its first international A330neo service between Manchester and Beijing, becoming the first Chinese Mainland airline to operate the aircraft on a decade-long route that continues to link two nations, economies and cultures. Hainan originally launched this service with Trent 700 powered A330ceo’s and a decade on Hainan are upgrading to the Trent 7000.

Powering this next era for Hainan is the Trent 7000 delivering a step change in fuel economy with every flight saving more than six tonnes of fuel while reducing noise making a quieter life for the communities around the airports, as well as delivering whisper quiet levels of cabin noise for passengers.

It’s a reminder that aviation progress isn’t measured only in miles flown. It’s measured in stronger connections, smarter technology and the ability to grow while reducing environmental impact.

With more than 70 A330neo aircraft on order across Chinese airlines, the Trent 7000 is helping power the next generation of long-haul travel across one of the world’s most dynamic aviation markets.
