This week, Riversimple founder Hugo Spowers MBE Spowers is at the annual (SMI) Roundtables & Exhibition at Hampton Court Palace, which opened officially on Wednesday.
Brian Moynihan, Chair & CEO, Bank of America and Jennifer Jordan-Saifi, M.V.O., MBA CEO, Sustainable Markets Initiative hosted the opening plenary – with a powerful case for sustainability based on long-term value creation and economic resilience.
Riversimple is an affiliate of the SMI, and many of our values and goals are aligned with the guiding principles of this extraordinary organisation – which is to put ‘Nature, People and Planet at the heart of global value creation.’
This year there’s a big focus on actualising tangible solutions for a sustainable future, ones that span sectors and geographies – and even into space, with Astra Carta. Space plays a critical role today and we need to look after it too; infrastructure, health, mobility, indeed most areas of modern life are dependent on it so the two programmes are complementary.
Hugo has joined a kaleidoscope of CEOs, leaders and remarkable innovators from around the world, highlights and photos below:
