Here's the honest bit: it depends on the size, scope and spec of the project. There's no single answer that fits every house.

But what we can always do is have a straightforward conversation, take a look, and give you a realistic idea — no pressure, no obligation.

Let's clear a few things up. 🙋‍♂️

❌ "Extensions always go over budget" — not if it's costed properly from the start
❌ "You need to move out during the build" — rarely true for most extensions
❌ "It'll take a year" — most projects are done in a fraction of that
❌ "Planning permission is a nightmare" — often simpler than people think (we covered this a few weeks back!)

A lot of people put projects off because of assumptions like these, not because of the reality.

Every project starts with an idea.

Months later, you’re standing in the middle of a space that once existed only on drawings, watching it come together piece by piece.

Project Felsted has reached another exciting milestone.

The roof structure is taking shape, insulation and first fix work are progressing, and the internal layout is really starting to come to life. What was once an empty shell is now becoming a home designed around the way our clients want to live.

It’s always rewarding to see a project reach this stage because you can finally appreciate the scale, the light and how each space will flow into the next.

There’s still plenty to do, but another big step forward has been made, and we’re looking forward to sharing more progress with you soon.
