💧 Pump Head vs Flow Rate – What’s the Difference?

Choosing the right circulation pump starts with understanding two key specifications:

🔹 Pump Head (m) – The pressure a pump can generate to overcome resistance in your heating system.

🔹 Flow Rate (m³/h) – The volume of water a pump can circulate per hour.

Our BritTherm P1 range offers different performance options to suit your system’s requirements.

✅ P1 25/4-130 – 4 m max head
✅ P1 25/6-130 – 6 m max head
✅ P1 25/8-130 – 8 m max head

Remember: A higher pump head doesn’t necessarily mean a higher flow rate. Both specifications matter when selecting the right pump.
