📍Malvern, Sewage Treatment Works

We’re proud to have supported the delivery of these essential civil engineering works, a project delivered by Hollywood Civils, who now became part of CR Civil Engineering towards the latter stages of the scheme, to support the upgrade of ferric chemical delivery and increased capacity to the Sludge Holding Tanks (S*T).

The scope included the supply and installation of a new chemical delivery bund and access road, alongside associated civil engineering and pipework works. This comprised ducting, hardstanding construction, kerbing, trimming, and tarmac surfacing, together with all minor ancillary works required to complete the scheme safely and efficiently.

This project is a great example of the technical competence, adaptability, and problem-solving capabilities demonstrated on site, led by Project Manager Shaun Gilbert. Strong client engagement, proactive planning, and a focus on collaboration ensured risks were identified early and mitigated effectively.

A particular thank you goes to Site Manager Rob, whose leadership and commitment played a key role in maintaining programme continuity and supporting the smooth, successful delivery of the works.

📍TKRE Tilbury

Since March 2026 , the team at CR Civil Engineering Ltd has been progressing a range of civils works across multiple locations, supporting access, infrastructure, and ongoing reconductoring operations. Working alongside Morgan Sindall Infrastructure part of the National Grid GGP scheme on the TKRE project.

Works have centred around the installation of temporary bridges, Trackway preparation, alongside continuous improvement / maintenance of haul routes to ensure safe and efficient site logistics. Significant volumes of Recycled Type 1 sub‑base and geotextiles have been installed, working within environmentally sensitive areas, the team has continued to operate under full ecological supervision, undertaking mitigation measures such as ant hill relocation, Root Protection, maintaining compliance within SSSI Assents & GCN Licences.

Despite challenges including constrained access routes, requiring changes to delivery methodology the team has adapted well to maintain programme progress across all work fronts.

A strong effort from all involved, continuing to deliver safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. & to our supply chain partners who have been detrimental to our delivery

One month into our Alrewas Junctions Section 278 works and the team is making great progress on site.

Working on behalf of Staffordshire County Council and Tarmac, our scope includes the installation of three new road and plant crossings. To date, all headwalls within the Junction 1 area have been successfully installed, with the team now preparing for kerb installation.

We’re proud to share that CR Civil Engineering has been shortlisted for the RSK Innovation Award (Large Projects) for our delivery of the M27 Southampton J5–J7 scheme, working on behalf of Morgan Sindall Infrastructure and National Highways.

Delivering essential renewal works between Junctions 5 and 7, the team has transformed a life-expired concrete carriageway into a smoother, quieter and more resilient asset, while keeping this critical South Coast route running under live traffic.
Through integrated planning and innovative techniques, including vacuum excavation and real-time safety systems, alongside a strong focus on sustainability and wellbeing, the project has significantly improved safety, reduced environmental impact and enhanced long-term performance for road users and local communities.
