CR Civil Engineering Ltd are proud to back the Kids Get Cancer Too Campaign, a childhood cancer awareness initiative that takes place each September. Drawing on the gold ribbon that stands as a symbol for these brave young fighters by going gold, raising awareness, and giving a louder voice to those affected.

The campaign was founded by sisters Emma Rees and Katy Yeandle, who also set up the wonderful charity, Joseph's Smile. It unites 21 charities from across the UK during childhood cancer awareness month, all sharing a single powerful message: Kids Get Cancer Too.

Through this campaign, the goal is to draw national attention to the 4,000 children across the UK currently living with cancer, and to celebrate the tireless work of the charities supporting these children and their families, so that no family must face this journey alone.

♻️ Supporting Our Local Community

As students prepare to head back to the classroom, we are proud to support the ESPFA by donating 25 office chairs to help furnish their classrooms for the new school year.

Rather than letting perfectly usable furniture go to waste, these chairs have been given a new purpose, supporting local education and helping create a comfortable environment for students and staff.

We're delighted to see these items being reused within the community and wish everyone at ESPFA a successful and exciting year ahead. 🎓

🌟Outstanding Achievement

A huge well done to Stephen Barnett, our Senior General Foreman who was recently recognised on the Banwell Bypass project for his outstanding commitment and dedication in preparing the site for a planned closure, with the Flouring People Award.

Working closely with our client Octavius and Galliford Try, Stephen played a key role in ensuring the site was fully prepared for the upcoming works, while continuing to supervise teams and support the day-to-day operation of the project.

Site Supervisor Steven Ho**er Ho**er added, “Although Stephen is never one to seek recognition and would credit the wider team, his organisation, professionalism, and hard work have been noticed by everyone on site. A well-deserved acknowledgment of an excellent contribution.”
