Two airlines. One essential job.

Commercial vehicle airlines are a small but important part of every tractor unit and trailer combination.

But what do the two airlines actually do?

Service airline – carries the air pressure signal that operates the trailer brakes during normal driving.

Emergency airline – provides a continuous air supply and helps ensure the trailer brakes apply if air pressure is lost or the airline becomes disconnected.

So why are they coiled? Their retractable design allows the tractor and trailer to move freely while helping reduce unnecessary strain during everyday operation.

Choosing the right airline can make a difference to reliability and durability, particularly in demanding commercial vehicle environments.
